Although males were forbidden from hurting females, it would be naive to assume that arguments and emotional abuse were nonexistent. Moreover, Interstellar Law wasn't as strict back then.
"Impossible. That can't be it!" Jamari's eyes turned red. He refused to accept it.
"You're lying to me! I want you to witness with your own eyes how your sons maul and slaughter each other." He kept Sylvester suspended in midair and forced him to watch the two tigers in the starship station.
"What's the point in doing this, young Crestfall? At the end of the day, the fault doesn't lie with me. Do you honestly think happiness will be yours when one of my sons dies?" Sylvester closed his eyes, reluctant to see his battered, clawed-up sons.
At that moment, utter chaos had taken over Stormclaw Alliance's starship station. Initially, the security force was still able to keep up with Scott in his attempt to subdue Sean.
As minutes went by, they lost consciousness to the virus, which had been coursing through their bodies more rapidly ever since they channeled their mental essence. Before long, they also went into a frenzy.
Not only did Scott have to deal with these frenzied therians, but he also had to fend Sean off.
Other therians from the alliance joined the fight and lent him their strengths, but the virus was spreading at an alarming rate as more of them got injured.
Eventually, Scott's consciousness also began to become muddied, only an overwhelming murderous intent remained vivid in his mind.
Its emergence sounded an alarm in his mind. He knew very well that he had been infected as well.
Scott instinctively reached out for Purification Potion that Analise gave him, but Sean mercilessly swiped at him and smashed him to the floor.
Gritting his teeth, he got up from the floor and pounced at Sean, pinning the latter beneath him.
However, Sylvester was still in the station. For that matter, Sean was his own brother. No matter what happened, he couldn't bring himself to kill his own family.
"Damn it, Scott!" Jamari slammed the starship control panel and bolted. No one was here to capture him yet. So, he found the perfect chance to blend into the crowd and left the station.
The therians were fending off the frenzied males. It didn't matter if they heard the blaring alarm and knew that Jamari was right there. They would never pursue him.
Back in the starship station, Scott had just pinned Sean to the floor, but two therian guards rammed him and knocked him over.
His pocket drive was sent flying from the momentum. It eventually smashed into a starship before shattering to pieces. Astral Ambers fell out and scattered on the floor.
Raising his head, he let out a guttural roar born from the clash between the excruciating pain and his murderous intent.
