The World of Beasts: She's Got Their Hearts novel Chapter 111

"Finlay, take a team with you and evacuate the residents in the vicinity. Also, inform the containment facility to do the same for the residents in their area," Scott ordered.

He held a syringe in his hand and injected its contents into a male lying next to him, whose mind was still a little cloudy.

"Right away." Finlay cast a longing look at Analise before he walked out of Hopkins Galaxy Lodge's dungeon cells.

Afterward, Scott continued, "The fine therians at Stormclaw Hospital developed these new inhibitors, but they didn't work very well, either.

"Jamari had never shown up the whole time, and no suspicious character was seen at starship stations. I have a strong feeling that he's cooking up some evil plan, though.

"I went back and studied his profile meticulously for the past few days, and I found out that he changed his name. He originally came from the Crestfall family, who had had bad blood with my dad and the Khielsons in the past."

Scott had the same soft and gentle expression, but there was now a hint of grave solemnness in it.

"So, is the whole thing Jamari's elaborate revenge quest? Did he collude with The Reclaimers just to get back at the Hopkins and Khielsons?" Analise handed a new syringe to Scott as they walked toward the next male.

"Yeah. That's entirely possible." He lowered his gaze. "It looks like I'll have to send someone to keep Dad safe."

"There's more to Jamari than meets the eye, apparently. I can't figure out how he managed to deceive the Khielson family and form a contract with Lily." Analise looked at one of the cells in the dungeon.

Hector was right inside, and he had completely lost his consciousness.

"That's not important anymore." Scott grabbed another syringe. "These therians can't snap out of their frenzy for good. That's what worries me the most right now."

Actually, Analise asked Echo if Purification Potion could neutralize the prion virus, and the latter gave her a definitive answer.

However, there were only several vials available. Naturally, she wouldn't have been able to let all the afflicted males drink it.

Although she went to the containment facility and purified the males who had succumbed to Vexoth venom, her Purification Level remained at three. It would take more Purification Values to make it to Level 4.

He already knew that she was an interstellar outsider. While she didn't have to tell him everything, she didn't have to hide all of it from him, either.

Analise raised her head and looked at Scott. "Thing is, I only have a little of it, and it's definitely not enough for this many males. Moreover, you can't find its components in the Interstellar therian world.

"If you pass it to Gideon, he might be able to research and develop a potion with similar functions, even though we won't know how well it would work."

Judging by the bracelet Gideon gave her, he probably knew her very well, and she trusted him deeply in return.

"But, Ana…" Scott trailed off before he continued, "Wouldn't Gideon suspect who you really are if you give the potion to him?"

He was a little worried about Analise, especially when Gideon was brilliant. Once she gave Gideon the potion, it would take the latter no time to figure things out.

"What if he already knew about it? In fact, he might've known about my real identity earlier than you did. He might also know me better than every one of you." Analise looked at the bracelet in her hand.
