The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 594

“After everything that’s happened, are you still so blind? Can’t you see who truly cares about you, and who’s just using you?”

Millie let out a heavy sigh. “Alright, I’ve heard enough. I get it. Let’s just leave it at that.”

She hung up as soon as she finished speaking, her expression dark and stormy.

She couldn’t rely on her mother anymore. The woman had left the country, had no connections left, and certainly wasn’t about to help her out of this mess.

If she wanted to survive—if she wanted any chance of a comeback—Millie would have to fend for herself. Leanne only wanted to save her own skin; Millie was just a pawn, and even being her daughter didn’t save her from that kind of cold calculation.

Millie’s mind was a tangled mess of anxious thoughts, but after running through every possibility, she could only think of one person who might help her now: Alexander.

Ninesky Technologies.

Gian spoke quietly to Danielle. “Millie’s case has been officially filed. She’s already under custody, waiting for trial. Honestly, I doubt she’ll ever walk free again.”

Danielle’s grip tightened on the stack of papers in her hands.

It was just as she’d hoped—Millie was finally behind bars.

With her locked up, Niki was a little safer.

The evidence Alexander had provided proved beyond doubt that Millie was the one who kidnapped Niki.

Danielle wouldn’t let Millie off easily.

Kirsten scoffed. “She brought this on herself, didn’t she? She had every chance to do the right thing, but she chose the worst possible path.”

“Back when she used to look down on Dani, did she ever think this day would come? Did she ever imagine Dani was the real powerhouse behind the scenes? Did she ever consider that one day she’d be the one begging us for help?”

Kirsten pursed her lips. “Honestly, it’s a relief to know she’s out of the picture. I haven’t seen her in days, and my eyes feel cleaner already.”

Danielle lowered her gaze, straightening the files in front of her, and nodded slightly.

“You’re right. The sooner she’s gone, the less trouble for everyone.”

Her eyes were icy as she said it.

Alexander had already offered her a deal—but she would never agree.

He’d left last night running a high fever. Danielle wondered whether their business meeting would go ahead today as planned.

Their previous collaboration was still underway.

The project had already been completed and was now in the implementation phase, ready to be handed over to the government.

“I’m pretty sure that’s not possible—unless you can get your hands on his phone, unlock it, and he never realizes. But that would only work if he trusts you completely.”

Kirsten raised an eyebrow. “Wait, are you trying to get something off Alexander’s phone?”

Danielle was silent.

It was true.

Alexander had the evidence, and he’d obviously been planning this for a long time—he’d collected everything he needed and stashed it away.

There was no way she could get new evidence now.

Alexander was using this as leverage, trying to bargain for custody of their daughter.

Maybe he’d anticipated this moment all along, laying the groundwork for years. It sent chills down Danielle’s spine—if he could plan this far ahead, what else was he capable of?

When he’d given up custody of Niki during the divorce, he had done so without a flicker of hesitation. He’d agreed to everything, never said no—not even once.

Now she realized it had all been part of his design. Everyone was just a piece on his chessboard.

Danielle took a long, steadying breath. “There’s something I need from the evidence he’s holding.”

Kirsten grinned. “So, when you see him today, maybe you should slip something into his coffee and grab his phone while he’s out?”
