The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 354

Mr. Hawthorne was, without a doubt, proud of her. Talents like Danielle were rare. She didn’t have a formal degree, yet her abilities easily outshone those of many graduates and PhDs.

It was also clear that, even after getting married, Danielle had never abandoned her dreams.

If she hadn’t taken it upon herself to study the content of master’s and doctoral programs, there was no way she could have reached her current level.

Dr. Gresham adjusted his glasses. “Since we’re working together on this satellite project, let’s call a meeting when Gian arrives.”

Danielle nodded.

This initiative was directly overseen by the Blackwood Research Institute and was a national priority. Every senior expert and leading academic in the field would be involved, some even heading up key segments.

She couldn’t afford to take things lightly.

Gian soon arrived, and their meeting lasted for two hours.

During the discussion, Danielle put forward several cutting-edge technical proposals.

The most impressive thing was how much simpler her solutions made implementation.

Dr. Gresham was visibly surprised.

He’d heard she’d never attended grad school or earned a doctorate.

With a meaningful look at Danielle, he said, “No wonder Mr. Hawthorne is so proud of you.”

Danielle lowered her gaze, modest. “You flatter me, Dr. Gresham. I’m still very green compared to all of you. I just have a lot of ideas—the actual execution still depends on your expertise and teamwork.”

“You’re too modest,” Dr. Gresham replied, studying her. “After this project, have you considered joining the National Aeronautics Agency? I’d be happy to write a recommendation letter for you.”

A recommendation like that was everything—the Agency had the highest standards and strictest requirements.

No matter how extraordinary Danielle was, there were still thresholds she’d have to formally cross.

The most important one: education.

Degrees weren’t everything, but sometimes they were the key that opened the right doors.

Dr. Gresham and the other top brass understood Danielle’s true ability. Her credentials were just a matter of time.

The National Aeronautics Agency reaching out was a huge endorsement, but she couldn’t just take it for granted.

“Thank you, Dr. Gresham. I’d like to keep building my foundation and make steady progress.”

Laying a strong groundwork was crucial.

In this field, there were no shortcuts. Success was built step by step.

Dr. Gresham’s eyes softened with admiration. “Not many young people these days have your attitude.”

After the meeting ended, Gian turned to Danielle. “Do you have any thoughts about your future career path?”

“My plans?” Danielle looked up from a pile of data. “Taking Ninesky to the global stage—that’s what I want.”

“The National Aeronautics Agency is offering you an opportunity. That’s a big leap forward.”

Danielle flashed a sudden smile. “Gian, are you worried I’ll be poached away from you?”

“Ninesky can go international and still connect with national projects. Once we start direct collaborations with the Agency, we’ll be making a mark for the country, too.”

It was only natural that her mentors would introduce her to major players at the national level.

That was also a necessary part of Blackwood’s current project.

They could judge talent accurately at a glance.

Mr. Hawthorne folded his hands behind his back. “That’s classified information—don’t ask me to break protocol.”

Then he said, “Let’s go check out the new design in the 3D printing lab.”

As they left, Alexander’s car pulled up outside the Blackwood Research Institute.

Millie had come, thesis in hand, to seek Dr. Gresham’s guidance.

At the entrance, project staff heard her request. “Dr. Gresham? He’s busy at the moment.”

Millie frowned.

“Miss Fletcher, are you hoping to get Dr. Gresham’s advice on your thesis?”

Millie nodded. “Could you please let him know I’m waiting?”

“If you don’t mind, there’s a brilliant mind in the office right now. You could consult her instead.”

Millie paused.

A genius?

Now she was intrigued.

Who could possibly advise her better than Dr. Gresham? She was aiming for publication in a top-tier journal.

“All right.” Millie turned to Alexander. “Alex, I’ll be a minute.”

Alexander sat with his legs crossed, composed and elegant. He didn’t even look up. “Go ahead.”
