The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 246

Danielle sat quietly, shutting out the world and centering herself in the present, focused and composed.

When she returned to the car, Gian glanced over at her. “Did you just run into them?”

She nodded.

He watched her carefully, a trace of concern flickering in his eyes.

Noticing his worry, Danielle offered a wry smile. “It’s nothing. They’re just repeating the same old lines.”

She’d heard it all so many times, it barely registered anymore.

“In this city, working in the same field, it’s impossible not to cross paths,” Gian said, starting the engine. “I just don’t want you getting frustrated. By the way, Mr. Keeley called—he wants us to come in tomorrow to sign the contract.”

“That means we’ll be working together more often from now on. Just… be prepared for that.”

Fastening her seatbelt, Danielle looked over at him, voice calm. “Are they supposed to be wolves and tigers? What exactly am I preparing for?”

“They’re just business partners,” Gian replied, glancing at her with a faint smile. “We’ll just stick to the usual process.”

She truly didn’t seem bothered by any of this.

Every partnership, every project—each was just another rung on the ladder she was determined to climb.

Teaming up with Newsworld was an opportunity; she had no reason to turn it down.

Besides, they had Vanguard Technologies backing them.

Vanguard wasn’t directly involved in Ninesky’s projects—they’d simply invested, expected a share of the profits, and required occasional reports.

As Gian once put it, Vanguard was basically handing them money.

Ninesky was bound to rise, and when the time came, everyone would be vying for a seat at the table. Vanguard just had the foresight to get in early.

They wouldn’t have to fight for scraps later.

Danielle nodded. Harold truly was both shrewd and forward-thinking.

“How else could he have brought Vanguard Technologies to where it is today?” Gian said. “If we play our cards right, we could give AetherX Dynamics, even Newsworld Group, a real challenge.”

Of course, Ninesky was still finding its wings.

“So, is Harold stronger than Newsworld Group?” Danielle asked.

“Hard to say,” Gian replied. “There’s an old saying—‘Chapman in the South, Davidson in the North.’ In the south, Vanguard reigns. Up north, it’s Newsworld Group. The rivalry between them has never really ended.”
