The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 1415

Gian and Kirsten were sitting at their dining table, having a simple dinner, when they heard the news of Harold's escape.

Gian's phone buzzed aggressively.

It was the head of security for The Atwood Group.

Gian's grip on the device tightened instantly.

Kirsten paused mid-bite, her fork hovering in the air. Looking up, she read the severity of the situation in his clenched jaw and ice-cold eyes.

She didn't say a word, simply waiting quietly for him to hang up.

"Harold escaped," Gian said, setting the phone face down. His voice was grim. "Mike was extracted too. By helicopter. It was Harold's crew."

Those few words sent a freezing chill through the dining room.

"He's not going to let this go," Kirsten said, setting her silverware down.

"Alex was the one who spearheaded his arrest. Danielle and Sterling were involved, along with The Atwood Group and Ninesky. If he's back, we're at the very top of his hit list."

Gian nodded. "Not just that. Jake is still in custody under investigation. He and Harold are biological father and son. Back then, Jake publicly cut ties to save his own skin, but he funneled plenty of resources to Harold in secret. Now that Harold's out, his first move will be breaking Jake out."

Jake had been handed over to the authorities by Alex and was currently under heavy surveillance, awaiting trial.

There was no way a free Harold would just sit back and watch his father rot in a cell. Springing Jake was his mandatory first step, and the perfect way to begin his revenge against Alex—

To rip a hole straight through The Davidson Group from the inside out.

"We can't stay here. We're heading to Alex's place."

Gian stood up and grabbed his coat, his movements sharp and decisive. "Something this big... they can't face it alone. We need to strategize. The only way we survive this is together."

"Exactly," Gian nodded. "Alex has definitely figured that out by now."

"We're going over there to iron out the logistics. Keep eyes on Jake, seal the borders. A two-pronged attack. We leave him nowhere to run."

The car soon pulled into Alex's private neighborhood.

Security at the gates had been tripled. Armed guards inspected every vehicle with intense scrutiny. Gian flashed his credentials, and they finally let him through.

Driving deeper into the estate, they saw Alex's villa lit up like a beacon. Several black SUVs idled in the driveway—likely a mix of police cruisers and The Davidson Group's security detail.

The two of them stepped out and walked toward the entrance. The guards in the foyer respectfully verified their identities before letting them inside.

Entering the living room, they found Alex standing by the floor-to-ceiling windows. Danielle was sitting on the couch, deep in conversation with a middle-aged man in a police uniform.
