Jeremy glanced at Savannah. "You all go inside first."
Savannah withdrew her gaze, and Anthony chimed in, "Let's head in."
The group made their way into the Ross family home. Jeremy walked over to the Bentley, and Darin pushed his car door open to step outside when he saw him approaching.
"When did you get here?" Jeremy asked.
"Just a little while ago," Darin replied.
Back inside the villa, the living room bustled with energy as everyone presented Felicia with gifts.
"Godmother!" Yara cheered, holding up a delicate transparent glass jar filled with tiny folded paper stars that glowed in the dark. She walked up to Felicia and offered it with both hands. "This is a birthday present for you. The stars will grant you a wish to get better soon."
Yara had not seen Felicia or Anne in a long time, and her mother had explained that Felicia had been away recovering from an illness.
Felicia reached out to take the jar, a delighted smile on her face. "It is beautiful. Thank you, Yara, I love it."
"I am glad you like it," Yara beamed, then asked, "Is Anne not here today?"
"She is not here today," Felicia replied gently. "If you miss her, we can arrange a playdate for you two another time."
"Okay."
Realizing Jeremy was missing, Felicia looked over at Heather. "Where is your brother?"
"He is outside. He ran into an acquaintance," Heather explained.
Felicia did not think much of it. About ten minutes later, Jeremy walked into the living room. Ava warmly greeted him, quietly feeling grateful that Felicia had so many people who cared about her. If it had not been for their unwavering support, Felicia likely would not have made it this far.
