The Ugly Wife’s Stunning Comeback novel Chapter 633

What woman wouldn’t dream of a birthday party like this? Anyone could see it—just how important the child’s mother was to the man, and he didn’t try to hide it. Everyone knew how rare it was for men with this kind of money and power to make such a show, to spend millions just to make one little girl happy on her birthday.

Max had Anne tucked in his arm, her eyes sparkling as she watched the fireworks burst over the water. Pure joy radiated off her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a big, loud kiss on the cheek.

“Thank you, Daddy,” she grinned.

Max looked at her like she was the only thing that mattered. Nothing in the world could compare to her smile.

Anne wiggled over and stretched to give Felicia a kiss too. Felicia smoothed her daughter’s hair, smiling as she kissed the top of her head. Anne let out a happy giggle.

“Having both of you with me for my birthday… that’s the best present ever,” Anne said.

Felicia’s chest tightened. For a moment, it felt like her heart was being squeezed by invisible hands. The light from the fireworks flickered in her eyes, making her expression a little hard to read.

When the party finally ended, the guests were shown to their rooms in the manor. The island slowly sank into calm and quiet.

Felicia took Anne to visit Yara. Yara was steady again, and Greg was sitting on the floor playing with her.

After a little chatting, Felicia led Anne back to their bedroom. Max was sitting on the couch, finishing up a call. The moment he saw them, he hung up and asked, “Is Yara doing better?”

“Yeah, she’s not crying anymore,” Anne replied.

“Good. Why don’t you go wash up and change with Mommy?”

“Okay.”

That night, Felicia lay beside Anne, watching her daughter fall asleep with a sweet, sleepy smile on her face. She couldn’t help but just look at her for a while, her heart so full.
