Three hours later, they touched down at the international airport. Their group slipped through the business terminal, where a car was already waiting outside.
The moment they stepped out, the heat hit them—thick and warm, wrapping around them like summer itself.
They piled into the car while airport staff took care of loading up their luggage. The drive was smooth and quiet, leading them straight to a beachfront villa by the pier. The place belonged to Jeremy, and everything was set: housekeepers and a chef already on hand, the house spotless and ready.
After hours in the air, then another ride in the car, the two kids were totally wiped out.
Once lunch was over, Felicia led them upstairs to get some rest.
Felicia, though, wasn’t tired at all. And Heather was practically bouncing with energy. She tugged at Felicia’s sleeve, her eyes bright. “Come on, Felicia! Go get changed. Let’s hit the beach.”
Felicia slipped into a purple bikini, the bandeau top showing off her figure. She tied a silky scarf around her waist and pinned her long hair up.
Heather’s jaw actually dropped when she saw her. It wasn’t like she’d never seen Felicia in a bikini before. The last time was two years ago, but now, somehow, she looked even more stunning.
Felicia’s skin was glowing, her body all smooth curves and long, elegant lines. Her waist was narrow, her legs straight and toned, and her face... just beautiful, with that grown-up, sexy confidence that made her impossible to look away from.
Just standing there, Felicia seemed to glow with a kind of quiet, magnetic allure.
Heather couldn’t help staring, her gaze drifting to Felicia’s chest. Suddenly, she felt her cheeks heat up, and for the first time, wondered if maybe guys weren’t really her thing after all.
Felicia noticed Heather standing there, frozen. She walked over and tapped Heather on the head. “Hey. What are you staring at?”
Heather snapped out of it and threw her arms around Felicia, burying her face in her friend’s soft, warm embrace. She grinned mischievously. “Felicia, you know, gender isn’t all that important. How do you feel about me?”
Felicia laughed and pushed her away. “If you keep this up, I’m going to tell everyone you’re being a creep.”
Heather just grinned wider. “Well, if I’m already a creep, might as well make it worth it.” She lunged for Felicia’s waist.
Felicia was too quick, stepping aside with a sweep of her long legs. But Heather wouldn’t give up.
“It’s just a hug!” Heather protested, reaching for her again.
