Felicia didn’t want to take the flowers, but when she saw how uncomfortable the staff member looked, she figured there was no point in making things harder for him.
She turned to Anthony with a teasing smile. “Mr. Murray, I hear you’ve got yourself a new girlfriend.”
Anthony lifted an eyebrow. “Not yet. Still working on it.”
Felicia grinned. “Wow, there’s actually a woman out there you can’t get? In that case, these are for you.” She took the bouquet from the staff and handed it right to him.
Anthony glanced at Jeremy, a sly smile tugging at his lips. He accepted the roses with a flourish. “A bouquet from Felicia? How could I say no? Tell me, am I the first man lucky enough to get flowers from you?”
Felicia laughed. “You are, Mr. Murray. Congratulations.”
Anthony’s grin widened. He shot a look at Jeremy and gave a little chin lift in his direction, but Jeremy barely reacted.
“I’m honestly flattered. Felicia, if you ever decide to pursue me, let me tell you, I wouldn’t hesitate.”
Savannah rolled her eyes. “Yeah, keep dreaming.”
Felicia chuckled. “I’m giving them to you, Mr. Murray, so you can pay it forward.”
Anthony just shrugged. “Doesn’t matter. I’m happy as long as you gave them to me herself.”
“Alright, time to go,” Jeremy reminded them. They still had a dinner to get to.
Jeremy said goodbye to the ladies. As for the lunch the staff member was holding, Felicia asked Mason to take care of it.
