At that moment, Amber walked over. "Mr. Ross, Mrs. Ross," she greeted them.
Ava offered a warm, polite smile. Amber gently took Felicia's arm. "I am so sorry to impose, but we were hoping Felicia could stay with us for the next couple of days. Please do not worry. I will take excellent care of her."
With media reporters still lingering outside the venue, Colton and Ava exchanged a hesitant glance. Ava looked at Felicia with deep concern.
"Mom, I will be fine," Felicia assured her. She simply could not leave without knowing Anne was okay.
Ava could not bring herself to argue. "Alright then. If anything happens, make sure you call home."
"I will," Felicia promised.
Greg and Jeremy exchanged a few parting words with Felicia before the group finally took their leave. Amber stayed by Felicia's side to see them off. Standing a short distance away, Wyatt observed the scene. He cast a dark glance at the man beside him, his tone turning exceptionally harsh. "I honestly do not understand what you have to be so dissatisfied about right now."
Max kept his face entirely blank and said nothing.
Felicia stood on the steps, watching Ava and her family drive away. Amber gently pulled at her hand. "Let’s go."
Amber led Felicia to a private lounge. "When it comes down to it, you no longer have any ties to the Hawthorne family. Why don’t you come stay at my house for the next few days?"
"Alright," Felicia agreed softly. "Where is Anne?"
"We did not bring the kids today. Mandy is keeping Anne and the others company at Hawthorne Manor. I will let my aunt know in a bit so we can bring Anne over tonight. Mandy can keep her occupied."
