Chapter 3307
Harvey turned speechless.
“But I‘m really not interested in this. I don‘t want to be the master of Longmen, either.”
“I know you don‘t care about reputation, Sir York.”
“But there are some things only you can do.”
“If Longmen falls, so will the underworld. If that happens, the country will follow.” “Are you just going to watch as outsiders ravage our country?”
Harvey became completely speechless upon hearing Colton‘s words.
After a moment, he sighed.
“At this point, I‘ll be seen as ignorant if I don‘t go.”
“Where do I sign up? I’ll go take a look.”
“No need.”
Colton brought out a registration form with a signature on it.
He happily handed the paper to Harvey.
“Just sign the paper here.”
“Right. The representative of Flutwell will be chosen tomorrow. You‘ll be competing at the Flutwell Gymnasium. Don‘t miss it!”
When Colton gave him a list of things to keep in mind during the competition, Harvey felt like he was being tricked into the situation.
But at this point, he had no choice but to go along with everything
After putting the papers aside , Harvey was reminded of another thing.
“Right, Elder Torres. I caused some trouble for the Indians this afternoon.”
“This wouldn‘t affect me in the competition, right?”
Colton’s hand, which was holding a cup, shivered. Some of the tea inside spilled out.
“The Bharata Business Council‘s influence became stronger because of this.”
“It might seem like things are sailing smoothly for them
because of the Bauer family‘s help...”
“But in truth, Cody is their one true support.”
“The Bharata Business Council wouldn‘t ask for his help if it isn‘t anything too dire.”
“Of course, there‘s no need to be scared of Cody if he does show up. I‘ll stand up for you.”
“Thank you for that.”
Harvey didn‘t think about that too much, anyway.
“In any case, since it‘s all come down to this, I‘ll gladly put this behind me if they give me a proper statement.”
“But if they‘re still planning to go against me, I wouldn‘t mind destroying the Bharata Business Council.”
