Before Shaun could respond, Dominic interrupted coldly, “Shut up! Who told you we’re here to cause trouble?”

Shaun was about to answer instinctively when he suddenly froze, wondering if the “Mr. Zeller” he meant was Felix. The others also noticed the unusual formality in the address, especially coming from the head of the Walsh family. 

After all, addressing an outsider as “Mister” typically meant they held a higher status and deserved special respect. However, they were puzzled as to what could make Felix so special. 

“Dominic, what’s your wife trying to do?” Felix finally broke free from Yvette’s tight grip and stepped forward. 

That single question made Evelyn’s teeth chatter with fear, while Dominic struggled to maintain a genuine–looking smile. 

“Mr. Zeller, this is absolutely a misunderstanding. Evelyn was just nervous at the restaurant earlier, which led to this unfortunate situation. I came personally to apologize 

to you.” 

At that moment, Dominic wanted nothing more than to slap Evelyn. What should have been a trivial matter had escalated into such a mess. 

He had known trouble was brewing the moment he got Evelyn’s frantic call about seeing Felix at the restaurant. Although their old grudges had supposedly been put to rest, Evelyn’s panicked reaction–turning and fleeing on sight–had practically screamed that something was wrong. 

“If something like this happens again, I won’t be so understanding,” Felix said coldly. 

Though irritated, he considered it a minor issue and did not want to waste more energy on it. He had actually wondered if the Walsh family would dare to provoke him again.
