Yvette hurried out of the kitchen, still holding the ladle. She had never seen Shaun like this 

before. 

“What happened, dear? Does it have something to do with Felix?” 

Shaun’s expression was grim, and his face was shadowed with concern. Instead of answering her, he turned to Felix. 

“Tell me honestly. What kind of conflict do you have with Evelyn? If we can’t figure out the reason, I really can’t do anything to help.” 

Shaun, who usually carried himself with an easygoing and carefree attitude, now seemed utterly serious. It left Felix somewhere between amused and exasperated. 

“I honestly don’t know Evelyn. I’ve never even met her, let alone had any issues with her.” 

Watching Shaun frown even more deeply, Yvette couldn’t hold back any longer. No matter what, she couldn’t just stand by and watch Cordelia’s only blood relative end up in real 

trouble. 

“What’s going on? Just tell me!” 

Shaun sighed heavily, finally making a decision. “Drive Felix out of Aleshire. I’m afraid Evelyn has already locked down the airport. I’ll handle things here.‘ 

“What?” Yvette’s face turned pale. Was the situation so severe that Felix needed to flee? 

Felix could no longer hold back. “Uncle Shaun, I know you mean well, but at least tell me— who exactly is Evelyn York?” 

He could always investigate later, but hearing it from Shaun would save time. Once he understood who Evelyn was, the problem would be easier to handle. 

Finally, Shaun relented, likely hoping Felix would leave obediently after learning the truth. 

“Evelyn York is the wife of Dominic Walsh, head of the Walsh family, one of the most powerful families in Aleshire. Since you’re not from Aleshire, you might not realize how influential the Walsh family is. They’re untouchable. 

“Whether she’s mistaken you for someone else or not, you need to get out of here for now. Let us try to clear things up.”
