At that moment, Nolan looked at his phone after Audrey hung up on him. Then, he smiled bitterly.
Something definitely felt wrong. Not only did she reject his invitation twice, but she even ended the call from her end.
However, he wasn't angry because he could tell from her voice that she was holding back the urge to cry. He figured she must've started bawling her eyes out after the call ended.
Then, his gaze turned cold.
"Do people think I'm a pushover now? Not only are they not dealing with me directly, but they're targeting the people close to me now. Alright then. If you guys want to do it this way, I'll play along.
"Although Audrey isn't my wife or my girlfriend, she treats me well, and you guys are bullying her for it. Just wait. I'll make sure you guys witness true humiliation."
He harrumphed and returned to his room. Then, he started the Eternal Sovereign Technique again and developed some Spirit of Life Serum.
At that moment, he wasn't thinking about anything else. Kara's birthday party was tomorrow, and everything would come to light soon.
When Nolan came out of his room after two hours, he was holding a small glass bottle. It looked exquisitely made, but it didn't seem expensive.
"We all have to leave eventually and let bygones be bygones. It's time to say goodbye now." Then, he turned around and left the house.
He didn't bring anything with him, nor did he need to do that at all. If he required something, he could return to the house at any moment. Although he wasn't living in that house anymore, it still belonged to him.
After he left the building, he immediately noticed more than a dozen people looking at him together. However, instead of being protective, he could feel that they were monitoring him at that moment. He felt really frustrated because of it.
Nolan waved his hand and said calmly, "I'm leaving here in a moment, so please come here."
