The price of betrayal (Jack and Ashley) novel Chapter 131

"I think I should leave." After Nolan said that, he got up and was ready to leave.

Kara immediately shot Kitty and Dipsy a glance, and they knew what she was implying right away.

Kitty grabbed his arm and said with a smile, "Nolan, why are you getting angry at Kara? That's not very gentleman-like at all. I think it's cool that you've been to jail. Why don't you tell me about your time there?

"I heard that people would get beat up a lot in jail. Not only that, but they might do some dirty stuff to you too if you're really good-looking. Is that all true?"

After she finished, she looked at him with a curious gaze and naughty smile, almost as if she was implying that he had experienced the so-called "dirty stuff" before.

When Nolan heard that, he looked at the three ladies and said seriously, "Jail isn't a fun place to be, so you shouldn't be too curious about it. Don't even think about trying to go there. Otherwise, you'll regret it forever."

That was the truth. It was a miracle for him to make it out there in one piece. Not only that, but he also had an unexpected encounter there.

However, not everyone could be as lucky as him. If someone else ended up in jail, their lives would be doomed.

Suddenly, Dipsy looked at Kara and whispered, "Can I borrow you for a second? I need to talk to you about something."

When Kara heard that, she went to the side with Dipsy immediately. "What's wrong, Dipsy? I've noticed that you're not feeling well. Kitty has been drinking the whole time, but you were being aloof. I know you don't like Nolan too, but can you go with the flow for me?"

As Dipsy looked at him, she thought that he was a little dumb. After all, she was being as obvious as she could, but he didn't seem to get it at all.

Dipsy tried to explain. "Oh, Nolan, just listen to me and try to get out of here. Kara will be fine, and so will we. You're the one who's going to be in trouble later. I can't tell you the details, so you'll just have to trust me."

As they spoke, Kara and Kitty returned. So, she hurriedly stopped talking.

Dipsy had said everything she could. There's nothing more she could do if Nolan didn't want to listen to her advice.
