The Perfect Wife's Perfect Revenge novel Chapter 921

She requested ten bodyguards. Leonie Everhart had no idea what he was planning, and she didn't let him ask. She simply took the security detail and headed straight for Felicia Vane's territory.

She had already tracked down Felicia's residence—the same apartment Dorian Fletcher had taken them to the first time.

Leonie arrived making a grand entrance, only to find that Felicia had a veritable army waiting for her.

"Where is Dorian?"

Her ten bodyguards were a drop in the ocean. Felicia had anticipated the Everhart family's reach. The moment she caught wind of Leonie's approach, she stationed over a hundred men in black suits, completely surrounding them.

Leonie hadn't expected Felicia to go to such lengths. She froze, utterly blindsided.

Even though her bodyguards were elite, they were hopelessly outnumbered and quickly subdued. Felicia locked them all away to ensure no one would spot them.

Felicia grabbed Leonie, her gaze piercing.

"You dare touch my man? So what if you're the Everhart heiress? There are millions of men in the world, and you had to pick a boy toy? This isn't a game you can afford to play. You clearly didn't do your homework on who I am in Greenvale. My family might not have the Everhart prestige, but we aren't pushovers. If you want my man, you go through me. Throw her in with Dorian."

Dorian had lost track of time in the basement. It was pitch black, an endless void of days and nights.

All he knew was the sudden, blinding sliver of light as the heavy door cracked open. He threw an arm over his eyes. As his vision adjusted, Leonie was shoved roughly into the room.

Dorian caught her. Leonie crashed into his chest, hitting his fresh bruises. He winced, and they both tumbled to the cold floor.

A single harsh bulb flickered to life above them. A woman's voice crackled through a speaker.

"You two are going to get real cozy in there for the next few days. I have errands to run. Dorian, you use this time to figure out if you're truly devoted to me. As for the Everhart princess, consider this a taste of the real world. That's what you get for touching what's mine."

It was Felicia over the PA system. Leonie glared at the speaker and unleashed her fury.

"You're a sick, twisted psycho! You can't just kidnap me! Greenvale has laws, and Hawthorne will destroy you for this!"

Felicia's wicked laughter echoed back.
