The Perfect Wife's Perfect Revenge novel Chapter 920

Felicia's face twisted with rage.

"Are you afraid of the consequences, or are you just too deeply in love to pull the trigger?"

Dorian practically dropped to his knees, his voice cracking as he begged.

"I swear to God, Leonie and I have never slept together! I look at her like an older sister, and she treats me like a younger brother. That's it.

"She's in love with someone else! I'm not lying to you. If I am, may I die a brutal death."

Felicia glared at him, letting the silence stretch on for a suffocatingly long time.

"You expect me to believe you spent all those days locked in a hospital room with her and never touched her? Who the hell would buy that?"

Dorian broke down in tears.

"It's the truth! She's in love with Connor Kaufman from Starfall City.

"She was just using me to make that punk jealous. They literally got into a screaming match over it yesterday. It has absolutely nothing to do with me. Felicia, if you don't believe me, look into it yourself. You have eyes all over the city. It won't take much to confirm we aren't together."

Felicia absorbed his desperate confession, her skepticism warring with her sick desire to keep him.

"I'll trust you for now. But I'll spare her life on one condition: you lure her here."

Felicia leaned in close.

"You know Hawthorne left town, right? I heard he's heading out to The Great Basin Wilderness. Who knows if he'll even make it back alive.

"Without him breathing down Sully's neck, do you honestly think Sully will just let you walk? I met with Sully yesterday. I paid him the three million. He won't hunt you anymore, but don't forget—you owe that money to me now.

"We've been through too much together. You know how much I despise my husband, and I loathe men who cheat. If you really want to leave me, you'll have to wait until I'm utterly bored of you. Until then, you aren't going anywhere."

She tossed his phone onto the mattress in front of him.

"You want to prove your loyalty? Do it now. Call Leonie. Give her your location and tell her to come save you."

Dorian froze, staring at the phone. Felicia's eyes turned instantly murderous.

"If you don't get her here, it proves you've been lying to me this whole time. Let me make this clear: if you bring her to me, I might let her live.

"But if you try to protect her, I will have my men slaughter her. You know I don't make empty threats. And if you're praying for Layne to swoop in and save the day, you're delusional. He's just a kid playing CEO. You really think he has the firepower to protect you?"
