The dorms for physical training were assigned by major, just like at Kingswood University, with four people in each room.
Charlotte saw Stella off, then wandered back to her own dorm. She pushed open the door at a leisurely pace. The three girls already inside turned to look at her all at once.
Their eyes went wide. Mouths hung open. For a second, they just stared, totally forgetting how to speak or move.
Charlotte was at least five foot seven, tall and lean. She wore loose, army-green cargo pants that made her legs seem endless, and a matching short-sleeved shirt that showed off her pale, slim arms.
Her face was something else—bare, with no makeup, but so pretty it didn’t seem real.
She stood there, one hand in her pocket, the other holding her uniform jacket, eyes lowered a bit.
“Hi,” one of the girls managed. Her name was Eileen. “Are you… are you in room 345?”
“Yeah. Hey,” Charlotte replied, nodding. She strolled over to her desk, sat down, and took off her hat.
The three girls looked even more shocked. Charlotte had looked gorgeous even with that awful hat. Without it—well, there were no words.
“I’m Eileen. I’m in Class 1,” the first girl said, still trying to get over her surprise.
“I’m Alvina,” another chimed in.
“And I’m Emma. We’re all from Class 1. What about you?” Emma added, smiling.
