The Mocked Miss’s Hidden Crowns novel Chapter 1459

The whole room seemed to go quiet at once. Every single person turned to stare at Emily, slender and elegant, standing there like she belonged in the spotlight.

“That bouquet-inspired dress… It’s not the flashiest, but the design really stands out,” someone whispered as reporters held their cameras ready. “Sabina’s wearing Jeva though, that’s the priciest and most famous gown tonight.”

“Does anyone recognize Emily’s dress? I don’t think it’s from any brand I know,” someone else wondered.

“Doesn’t matter what brand it is. She looks stunning,” another reporter chimed in, already edging forward, eager to get closer to Emily.

“That’s true,” the woman next to him agreed, nodding quickly. “Trust me, Emily’s look is going to light up the whole internet. People will be obsessed by tomorrow.”

Snagging the top headline was everything tonight.

As soon as that thought hit, the women ditched Sabina without a second glance, rushing toward Emily instead.

Suddenly, one reporter walked away, then another. In just a few seconds, Sabina’s crowd thinned out, her flashes dying down, leaving her alone in the middle of the red carpet.

“Emily, over here… this way!”

“Emily, can you face the center?”

“Emily, could you step a little closer to Jarrod?”

It felt like the entire red carpet had transformed into Emily’s own show.

“Kenneth, Kenneth!” Fans all shouted at once. Kenneth gave a slight, barely-there smile. Instead of stopping, he kept walking, long strides bringing him straight to Emily.

Emily hadn’t been expecting any of this. She just stood there, frozen. Only when Kenneth stopped right in front of her did she manage to move, lifting her chin to look at him. Her eyes were wide, bright with confusion.

Wait… Why was he here? Wasn’t he just meant to walk past? Why was he coming right to her side?

Whispers started to buzz among the reporters, all of them picking up the scent of a new story. Fans stared, holding their breath, eyes huge as they watched the two of them together.

Kenneth and Emily… they actually looked good together.

Emily could feel a hundred stares pressing down on her, her heart suddenly racing, her breathing slightly shaky. She barely had a second to compose herself before the host’s voice rang out again from the stage.
