The Mocked Miss’s Hidden Crowns novel Chapter 1063

“Charlotte, you and Anthony are perfect for each other.”

“Don’t bring him up to me ever again.”

Without hesitation, Charlotte snatched a tissue and flung it at Adonis. “Get out!” Her patience was clearly wearing thin.

Adonis caught the look in her eyes and knew better than to argue. He grabbed his suitcase and left quietly, giving her the space she clearly wanted. Being left alone was making Charlotte even more irritable than usual.

But Jackson noticed something different. When Anthony’s name came up, Charlotte’s expression had softened in a way she probably didn’t realize.

“Charlotte, here’s your suitcase,” Jackson said, setting it down with quiet respect.

She barely acknowledged him, resting her chin in her hand, her eyes lowered and her mood clearly off.

“Anthony said there’s a surprise inside,” Jackson added.

That got her attention. Charlotte’s head snapped up and her eyes lit up, curiosity instantly replacing her irritation.

“I’ll leave you to it,” Jackson said with a small, almost hidden smile. He opened the suitcase for her and left the room.

Charlotte glanced over. There were two suitcases. One had clothes. The other was packed with all her favorite snacks.

A small smile curve her lips. She picked up a bottle of milk, poked in a straw, and held it between her teeth. Raising an eyebrow, she sat down at her computer and started typing one-handed: Mr. Churchill.

Almost nothing came up.

She tried a few tricks and finally dug up some hidden info. Mr. Churchill was the only son of the Churchill family, their future heir. Rumor had it he’d always been frail, which was why he was rarely seen in public.

There were no clear photos of his face, just a blurry shot from behind.

Charlotte stared at the image on the screen, frowning. She took a long drink of milk, then tossed the empty bottle in the trash.

“He’s nothing compared to Anthony,” she muttered.
