The hindrance would disappear if Gustavo were to die in the prison riot, and both the US government and the Rothschild family would lose their bargaining chip to control the current ruler of the Sanchez family.
Upon thinking about this, Charlie smirked, knowing that his chance had come.
He leaned toward Leandro and asked, "Has there been a riot here before?"
"Of course," Leandro joshed casually. "Riots are common here, and the guards don't give a damn at all. They are like the owners of a kennel who lock a bunch of dogs in cages and let them bite and fight as they please. They simply stay behind the bars and watch the game. When they have enough fun, they come in to intervene, separate the dogs, drag out the bodies, and beat the crap out of the living dogs."
Then, he frowned skeptically. "Why are you asking this all of a sudden?"
Charlie looked over to Moses's table and saw that Moses's men had begun to disperse and detour toward Gustavo's table from several directions. "I feel like they are about to fight," whispered Charlie.
"That's normal." Leandro shrugged indifferently. "It's obvious why they want to fight. Let's just hide at the back and watch the fight."
"Hide at the back?" Charlie chuckled, put down the spoon, and bantered, "So boring. I want to join in the fun."
With that, he stood up and slowly walked toward Gustavo.
It was then that Gustavo realized that something was wrong.
Although Moses's men were scattered, they seemed to be making a detour toward him. Some came directly toward him while others walked in different arcs, and some even went around to the other side to surround him.
His expression abruptly became serious, and he said coldly, "It looks like Moses is really up to something tonight!"
His men gasped nervously.
Gustavo was hiding behind his men with an indifferent face at this moment, looking at the muscular men who were surrounding him and not realizing that he was in great danger.
He assumed that the Rothschild family didn't want him to be too comfortable. If some of his men were killed tonight, he would stay low and be more reserved, but that would not stop him from enjoying the privileges.
Hence, he stood up and looked at Moses from a distance, his expression angry and a little cold.
He had an idea in his mind. The next time he talked to the Rothschild family, he would do whatever they asked him to do with one condition—to kill Moses.
To the Rothschild family, Moses was nothing but a pet dog they kept in Brooklyn Prison. They could easily replace him with another one if he died.
The confident and arrogant Gustavo did not realize that he was their prey tonight!
