Gustavo wanted to see the warden, and so did Charlie.
It would be best if he could meet the warden without being noticed by the Rothschild family.
However, due to the special situation in the prison, it was not easy for Charlie to achieve this goal. It seemed that Gustavo was his chance.
In Charlie's opinion, approaching Gustavo was at least easier than approaching the warden. Moreover, he and Gustavo happened to be in the same prison area.
Hence, he leaned toward Leandro and asked, "Do you know how I can be friends with Gustavo?"
"Who? Gustavo?!" Leandro shrieked in surprise and then laughed. "Dude, Gustavo was a drug lord in Mexico and also a billionaire. He is probably among the top 100 richest men in the world. He is also the leader of Mexico's leading private armed forces. His existence in this prison is like locking a tiger in a cat's cage. How could he be friends with people like us..."
Charlie couldn't help but snort when he heard this.
In Leandro's view, Charlie and Gustavo were incomparable.
In reality, however, Gustavo was simply incomparable to him.
In terms of wealth, Charlie was way more wealthy than Gustavo was.
In terms of power, Gustavo's little drug-trafficking army was nothing compared to Ten Thousand Armies.
Besides, Charlie didn't want to bother befriending a drug dealer like Gustavo. Gustavo was just a decoy to him.
Be that as it may, Leandro's remark enlightened him.
Charlie was bewildered. Based on Leandro's and Gustavo's analysis, he concluded that Moses had intentionally provoked Gustavo and weakened the latter's influence in the prison under the Rothschild family's instruction.
Charlie couldn't have imagined that Moses actually wanted to kill Gustavo.
Since the Rothschild family had put so much effort into keeping Gustavo in a prison under their control, they wouldn't have wanted to kill him just like that. Charlie speculated that someone else had ordered Moses to kill Gustavo.
As a matter of fact, this person must be someone with unfathomable power. Otherwise, it would not be worth it for Moses to go against the Rothschild family's order.
It was speculated that this person was most likely a member of Gustavo's family.
For the current ruler of the Sanchez family, keeping Gustavo in the hands of the Americans was like putting a noose around the family's neck. The other family members would think that he didn't care about Gustavo if he didn't do as the Rothschild family pleased. Therefore, Gustavo's existence was a hindrance to him.
