Mia.

Car racing? what the hell goes in the guys head. first, he took her to private property, then he made her shoplift in one of their dates. most of the dates she went with him could have ended up in a very bad way. this wasn't a date but car racing is pretty illegal. she also remembered Enzo saying he was a reckless teen, always went to illegal fights, car racing. that was before everything went down during dinner.

she laughs loudly then pauses noticing he kept his forest green eyes on her. "I'm not joking kitten," nik says in a serious voice. "this is illegal" mia exclaims making the trio laugh at her "of course silly, that's what makes this so fuking exciting," Jason says tapping her nose." I will go and see when we are up" nik announces, then bends down and pecks mia. he studies her unfazed face for a minute then removes his jacket, places it on her. she goes to remove the leather on her but his hand stops her.

"it's for your safety kitten, everybody will know to stay away from you looking at my jacket," he says to her, and mia nods looking around the people who openly stared at her. mia pulls the jacket closer watching nik walk away.

"it will be fine, it's not like you will get run over or anything which rarely happens," Jason says to her. mia opens her mouth to say something but then notices his squirrel in his left chest pocket. she smirks evilly in her head. mia rolls her eyes at him "you think it is safe for Mr nutman here? what if he gets run over by a car?" mia asks her eyes big and innocent. jason's eyes widen in horror and he quickly zips up his hoodie.

"Jacob" Jason whines crossing his arms with a pout. mia raises her eyebrow at Jacob, who looks at her then back at his twin. Jacob rolls his eyes "Hermosa, stop terrorizing him" he says in a sarcastic tone. "you are supposed to protect me" Jason says to Jacob. "remember this twin, if it is a hot girl or your squirrel, I will choose hot girl" Jacob explains in a sickly sweet voice." that's not fair" Jason says glaring at his twin.

"life is not fair," Jacob says putting his arm around mia's shoulder. soon the twins began to bicker back and forth making mia roll her eyes and remove herself from Jacob's embrace, she walked around. she lifted up her brow noticing everyone around her avoided her gaze or bowed down to her. nik must really be 'powerful' she thought as she walked around more.

mia finds nik talking to a bulky man and walks up to him. she wraps her hand around him, making him look down with a glare but his face softens when he notices it was mia. "I combattimenti Stanno andando bene signore, skull è diventato il miglior combattente, ci sta dando buoni soldi. anche il Nuovo farmaco sta vendendo bene" the man says in what mia thinks is Italian. she understood a few words. sir.fight.good. so nik is Italian.

Thinking about Italians made mia recall last night. the Russo family were their biggest rivals. was she in danger because of them or some other family? and what was the actual reason for the fight between the two most powerful mafia families. they were enemies since their great-great-grandparents. but the mafia was established before that.

"kitten," nik says waving in front of her face. mia blinks snapping out of her thoughts. "done daydreaming about me?" nik says raising his brow. mia smiles rolling her eyes "you are so full of yourself, aren't you?" mia asks looking up to him. the bulky man was gone and the pair was standing alone." only for you" he answers with a smug while looking into her deep brown eyes. "that was cheesy" mia says turning around. he follows her as she walks towards a little bar.

she raises her brow and gestures him to go on. "you cheated in your history test" nik says pointing his finger to her. the bartender gives their drinks "thank you" mia says and nik gives him a nod. "nope" mia says to him. "you hurt someone" nik says and she shakes her head, taking a sip of the red-colored drink. her eyebrows shot up and a moan escapes from her lips "it's soo good" mia says taking another sip. nik nods taking a sip of his own drink. his eyes widen and he points his finger at her. " wait. I know!" he says and mia nods raising her brow. "you are utterly and completely in love with me," he says with a serious face.

mia laughs and nik makes an offended face. "sorry hun, I'm not" she answers tapping his nose. he then smirks at her "yet" he says kissing her nose. her heart swells and heat rise in her cheeks making the green-eyed boy smirk and throw her a wink. "you are up" the buff guy yells from somewhere. nik grins excitedly at Mia then frowns seeing a frown which rested on her face. "it's safe, I am a good driver" he says looking into her eyes. mia studies his face, his eyes carefully. she can read a few emotions. he said it would be safe. so it's okay.

it's not okay. it's not fucking okay. she holds onto the headboard, glancing at nik. "nik" mia screams as he drives faster. he laughs glancing at her. "you said you are a good driver" mia says holding onto the seat. "this is my good driving" nik says with a chuckle. a yelp escapes from her as the car makes a swift turn. "nik" she screams when a car bumps into them. he snarls bumping his car onto the blue Mercedes. "fucking dick" he mutters raising the accelerator. the blue car drives faster and turns swiftly making nik lose the control of the car, it swirls around making mia scream and nik Groan and raise the accelerator and drives behind the blue car. two more cars behind them bumping into the back of the car. he shakes his head glaring at the road as a car drives along with them.

mia takes a deep breath and looks at the black Aston Martin. the girl behind the wheel with pink hair glares at her. she pouts driving a bit ahead of them. hell no. "fucking drive nik," mia says determined he laughs "that's what I'm talking about" nik yells driving faster. they pass the Ashton Martin and mia flips a bird at the girl.

they reach the blue car and nik smirks evilly and drives faster. she sees his smirk and looks at him closely. "nik" mia said carefully, holding onto the seat as nik drives faster and bumps into the car making the car swirl and loose control. nik drives faster passing the blue car. mia screams as a car bumps them again. nik sighs and presses a button, making the car jump and drive faster. she squeals they reach the finishing point. the crowd erupts into cheers as Mia gets out of the car. she jumps on him and he laughs hugging her back "I can't believe I did that. that was amazing" she yells kissing his face. the rush, the speed, almost dying. it was amazing. suddenly, police sirens were heard.
