she smiled as she blew the candles of the chocolate cake. she looked to see everyone singing happy birthday around her. "cake" Jason squeals reaching out to touch the cake, Nik hits his hand glaring at him. he pouts, and mia giggles at them. she cuts the cake and feeds it to her best friend Brooke, then she feeds it to the twins, Ryan. she looks at Nik to see him already staring at her with a smirk. she walks up to him with a piece of chocolate cake in her hand. he stood tall, and mia rolls her eyes annoyed, everyone around them watched the couple but mia gave no attention to them. "bend" she asks lowly but Nik just smirks at her.

she sighs and stands on her toes and feeds him the cake, Nik bites the cake, in the process of sucking mia's fingers in his mouth making her release a low moan.

Nik smirks at her reaction and pulls her in a kiss, mia gasps and kisses him back, he bites her lip entering her mouth. mia groans tasting the chocolate cake on his tongue. their tongue danced together, deepening the kiss making mia moan against him, her hand reaching his neck up to his hair, pulling it back. he groans pulling her closer.

"Okay, enough of that" Marcus says from the door.mia grins and runs up to hug him. "hey. mia," he says picking her up. a yelp escapes from mia as he spins her around, making her giggle, she hit his arm as she felt a bit dizzy. "happy birthday Alexi" he says loudly with a smile. mia frowns. she was not mia Alexandria Thompson anymore she was Emelia Renia Isadora Rodriguez."hey, you okay?" Marcus asks concerned. mia nods with a small smile "yeah I'm good" she says then hits him.

"ow, dude" Marcus winces as mia glares at him "what was that for?" he asks with a fake glare "you were late" mia shrugs and he rolls his eyes muttering incoherent words. "I'm back bitc- holy hell, Marcus!" Brooke yells and Marcus's eyes widen in surprise "Brooke?" he says not believing she was there, running up to him, mia moves away as Brooke tackles him in a hug, he stumbles trying to catch her and fails to fall on his back. they groan in each other's arms but don't pull away.

mia jumps as she feels an arm wrap around her, she sighs in relief when she sees it is Nik. who else would it be? peter pan? her conscience taunts her. she rolls her eyes and leans into his warmth and smiles as she feels nik kiss on top of her head.

mia watches as her best friends get up with huge grins on their face, they turn to her "why didn't you tell me?" both ask and mia smirks at them "surprise, surprise" she says with a smile, they roll their eyes staring at her "Well if I told you I wouldn't get that reaction from you guys" she says to them and they roll their eyes at her simultaneously."that's my cake" she hears Jacob yells behind her, she turns around to see Jacob and Jason fighting for a piece of cake.

nik groans loudly looking at the twins. "are they always like this?" Brooke asks from beside her. mia nods answering her question."why?" Brooke asks as Jacob pulls Jason's hair, he winces and pinches his nose. why? who the hell knows. "they have always been like that" Marcus says resting his elbow on Brooke's head.

"want to go to the beach?" nik asks earning the attention of the twins. "race you to the beach," Jason says and runs off to the back door. "hey! that's cheating" Jason yells running after him. "I don't have a swimsuit," mia says to nik and he raises his brow "you swam in your undergarments with me," nik says and Marcus and Brooke gasp "when did this happen and why didn't I know about this?"Brooke asks and Marcus nods looking at mia. she rolls her eyes then looks at Marcus "I will tell you if you tell me why were you so late!"mia asks crossing her arms, Brooke nods and turns to Marcus copying mia's stance.

Marcus takes a glance at nik then looks back at mia "I just had some work, you know that I'm developing a new program, so I'm was so into that I forgot" he says sheepishly. mia nods then look at nik "so I have to swim in my undergarments?" she asks him and he shrugs. mia smirks "so you don't mind if anyone sees my black lacey garments?"mia asks and grins wider seeing Nik's eyes darken.

"no, you can wear my shirt," he says pulling her in a possessive hold. "don't worry I bought her one," Brooke says and mia nods"so let's go," she says and Marcus and Brooke shake their heads" oh, missy, you are not going anywhere till you tell us how you swam with nik," Brooke says and mia rolls her eyes "fine, he took me to some private property and we did some cliff jumping," mia says and Marcus chuckles "you took her to the black- black rose property," he says glancing at nik.

"We have to go there again," Brooke says pointing to nik and mia shakes her head "no, the guards chased us out and I don't want to get chased again" mia complains with a pout. "you need to work out more often." nik says and mia gapes at him. "excuse me," she says with an offended look. "I mean if you workout often, you won't get tired that soon" nik shrugs. Brooke shakes her head along with Marcus, stepping back from the pair. mia pulls away from the embrace and glares at him "so what do you mean by that, I have to work out?" mia asks and nik nods "yes, obviously you need to" he says and mia hears Brooke mutter 'oh.oh'

"so I'm fat," mia says and "yeah- I mean no" Nik says as mia walks away from him. "kitten!" he yells and mia flips him the bird.

mia sat on the sand in her black and white neoprene crochet. "oye Hermosa, cariño, te ves Divina, si Alguna vez present tu imagen en el Cielo, tantos ángeles esconderán su rostro de vergüenza." Jacob says as he stops in front of her. (Hey beautiful, darling, you look divine, if I ever present your image in heaven, so many angels will hide their faces in shame.) mia chuckles with a blush checking him out in his polo swimming trunks. he had a good 6 pack and his hair was wet as he just got out of water. mia frowns thinking back to Nik's words was she fat?

"am I fat?" she blurts out and mia hits herself mentally. way to go mia. Jacobs's eyes widen and he scrunches up his nose "fat? Hermosa you are not fat at all, Who made you think that needs glasses" he says taking a seat next to her.

she stays silent and he sighs heavily "Nik?" he asks in an obvious tone and mia nods hesitantly. Jacob rolls his eyes and turns to her fully "Hermosa, he may be a smooth talker but he kind of. no, he never dated anyone before so never truly cared for a chic, he just knows that you can't cheat in a relationship" Jacob says and mia .grimaces relationship? he never asked her to be his girlfriend. he froze and studies her face, then chuckles running his hand through his hair. "he...didn't ask de he?" he says and mia slowly nods. "somebody needs to buy him a brain" Jacob mutters to himself. "what?" mia asks him and he smiles and shakes his head. "so rapunzel, huh" he says with a smirk. she frowns then her eyes widen.

his eyes widen looking at her face and he facepalms "oh, I wasn't supposed to tell you that so just forget about it and the panty liner things, shit, forget about that too" he blabs and mia glares at him "who told you?" she asks him and he laughs nervously "um, your hot friend? Brooke?" he says and mia closes her eyes breathing deeply." look I just asked her to tell me something interesting about you and she just blabbed that," he says. mia sighs and looks at Brooke playing beach volleyball with Marcus and Ryan. she frowns noticing they were the only people there.

"Why are there no other people?"she asks and Jacob smiles "you didn't know he owns this island?" he says and her eyes widen. of course, I'm such an idiot. wait for island? "island?" she asks shocked and he nods "um that's what I said Hermosa," he says then looks behind her, but mia looks at her lap

"Princesa" she hears a voice behind her and stills mia turns around to see her brothers in a black and white tux with a red bow tie. she glares at them as they walk up to her. it has been pretty long since they had last seen them and truth to be told she missed them dearly. as they reach her mia lifts her hand and gives them a sarcastic smile as they smile at her. before anyone could say anything, she lifts her hand and punches both of them in the face. they flinch and groan and mia winces holding it.

what the hell is their face made of? "Princesa-" Enzo starts but mia cuts him off "where the fuck were you guys?" she yells at them and Enzo and Javier give her a stern look. "first of all language young lady, you will not speak to me like that" Enzo says and mia steps closer holding her head high "I will fucking talk like I fucking want and you are not the fucking boss of me so go and fuck yourself" mia sneers at him.

he sighs looking at the ceiling as mia crosses her arms with a challenging look on her face. "look, baby, we are sorry for going off like that, but we had to. our rivals found out about the two of us and to the world, the Rodriguez family isn't supposed to exist our mafia should just be a tale. but now every mafia knows that the Rodriguez heirs are alive if it's us it will be fine but we can put you in danger and we were and are taking care of that" Javier explains softly and mia expression softens.

"then you could have told me somehow, I just thought something happened to you guys and I just got you both back and I don't want to lose you," she says as tears brim in her eyes. "oh princess," Enzo says pulling her in a hug. he kisses her head and pulls away "you will not lose us, baby, not for a long time, i- we promise you as long as we both are breathing we will protect you and love you," Javier says then smiles "and happy birthday dear sister," he says kissing her cheek. "happy birthday," Enzo says to her, mia smiles mumbling a thank you.

"you are wearing the earrings we gifted you," Javier says pointing to her ears. mia kicks herself, of course. Lorenzo Rodriguez and Javier Rodriguez. my brain is so slow." thank you for the gift" mia says to both of them "welcome" Javier says with a smile but Enzo rolls his eyes "no need for thank you, baby, they are yours" he says to her. "so ready?" Enzo says holding his arm out. mia frowns for what? "he didn't tell you, did he" Javier says to her. "of course archer" Enzo says sarcastically. "um ready for what?" she asks and Javier looks at Enzo. "we are going to introduce you to our mafia, the inner circle, our aunts, uncles, cousins, and others" Enzo says and mia's eyes widen "I have more family?" she says and Javier nods "yeah, but to the world everybody of Rodriguez blood is dead so...." he trails off. they walk to the stairs and mia gasps looking around the crowd, there were at least 200 people. Jesus how big is this well my family?

everything was beautifully decorated with red, gold, and black. she never thought her house would look this good. mia notices everyone either wearing black, red, or gold. the colors must be the theme. "black, gold, and red are the colors of the Rodriguez mafia family" Javier whispers to her. "you mean the gold? princess black is for the common mafia family color, red means a higher mafia family, and gold is for the royal family, and the royal can wear any color they want but the other should wear their color" mia frowns then how would they know if they are royal or not? if they wear any color. "I know what you are thinking, every royal will wear a customized ring and a tattoo. what if someone steals the ring? and gets the tattoo. "every ring and tattoo is given by us and noted in our computer and it is made to be suited the person wearing the ring, if anybody does steal the ring it would be notified as the ring takes the DNA patterns and new DNA, the computer signals us"

she realizes everyone was looking at her, there was total silence as mia shifted in her feet at the attention. you are a Rodriguez for the fuck sake, get a grip, she scolds herself and held her head high.

We present to you, princess, Emelia Renia Isadora Rodríguez.) Enzo announces and immediately almost everyone puts their right fist on their heart, bowing their head. "Princesa, te aseguramos que pongas tu Vida por delante de Nosotros," they say together as if they recited it many times creating a theatrical effect.
