Nik.

He parks in front of his house and hops out of the car with a smile. the kiss he shared with mia still lingered in his mind, nik could still feel the soft lips on his own, he wanted to kiss her again, it's like her lips were like a drug, her taste, smell everything about her is addicting. when he kissed her, it was like she was the missing piece in his life, it was so hard for him to let go of her, he liked the way her eyes twinkle when she smiles or when she scrunches her nose, everything about her was magical. he tossed his keys to the man, who walked up to him, he walks inside the house thinking about mia. did she like how I kissed? I'm a good kisser but did she like it?. did my breath smell good? he thought as he breathed against his hand and smelt it."Cosa fai?"(what are you doing?), nik looks at Elijah who gave him a weird look.

he rolls his eyes "Cosa Sto facendo? Cosa stai facendo qui?" (what am I doing? What are you doing here?) he retorts raising his brow. Elijah smirks "Questa è casa mia troppo Fratellino" (this is my house too little brother). he says as nik walks up to him. "dov'è la ragazza?" (where is the girl?). he asks and he glares at him "non sono Affari tuoi" (none of your business) nik spits at him.elijah raises his hand with a mock smirk "qualunque cosa tu dica, fratellino" (whatever you say, little brother). "il grande capo vi chiama entrambi, signore" (the big boss calls you both, sir) the guy dressed in black says with facing the floor. nik frowns confused as he walks to his father's office. both of us? last time that happened when he wanted me to start my training as the big boss as I'm the true heir. Elijah was mad but he got over it eventually, and why is he still mad at me? because I slept with his so-called girlfriend. not my fault that ladies can't resist me.

nik and his brother Elijah walk to Matteo's office. the man had a stern look on his face as they took a seat before him. "qualunque cosa sia, non l'ho fatto." (whatever it is, I didn't do it). Elijah says looking at him. nik rolls his eyes "cosa è successo, padre?"(what happened, father?).he asks Matteo seriously understanding his father's tensed look. "I Fratelli Rodriguez sono Vivi"(the Rodriguez brothers are alive) Matteo says and Elijah sits up straight "excuse me what?" Elijah

yells, "are you dumb or what? the Rodriguez brothers are alive," nik says rolling his eyes. the older half brother glares at him and nik gives him a smirk. "come sono vivi ?!" (how are they alive?!) Elijah asks and Matteo shrugs "I don't have that information" Matteo replies rubbing his forehead.

"what information you have then?" Elijah screams hitting the table. Matteo glares at him "you don't talk to like that boy" he warns sending Elijah a sharp look Elijah gives him a sarcastic smile, zipping his mouth mockingly. "father" nik says trying to get back to the situation.he remembered reading about them, they had a book for every mafia family, and the Rodriguez family is very powerful, just like them, the Russo family. both of the families have been enemies for 3 generations, he also remembered reading that, at first both the families were allies, best friends in fact but suddenly rivalry started between them, no one knows the reason but there are many conspiracy theories.

"They have no plan to attack us, but we have to be ready," Matteo says and nik leans forward "can't we just sign a peace treaty?" he sighs and Matteo shakes his head "and disrespect our ancestors? they have hated the Rodriguez family for 3 generations, the family betrayed us" Matteo says shaking his head. "so if they ask for war, they will get a war," nik says with a smirk, Elijah smiles "it has been long since I killed someone," he says to them. Matteo chuckles rolling his eyes "I have a job for you then, joe didn't pay us back, so why don't you pay him a visit?" Matteo says and Elijah nods getting up.

"sure, I will visit him, dad you won't be disappointed," he declares as Rachel enters and hits his head "mamma, mi dispiace, ow mamma! mi dispiace!! mi dispiace!! parlerò solo Italiano. e anche Nik e papà parlavano in Inglese" (mom, I'm sorry, ow mom! I'm sorry!! I'm sorry!! I'll only speak Italian. and Nik and Dad also spoke in English) he complains dodging Rachel's hits. the amused smile leaves from Matteo and nik as Rachel turns to them, nik gulps Oh merde (shit).

Mia.

I'm a what now? Spanish mafia princess?. mia thought as she laid back on her bed. after hearing everything archer said, she quickly went to her room. her head pounded as she thought about her family, trying to remember them. she had two elder brothers, Xavier and Lorenzo. did they miss her? did they remember her? where are they now?. many more thoughts came to her, she hears a knock at the door and Scarlett walks in along with Emma. she sits up from her bed and looks at the wall behind them. "Mija," she says taking a seat next to her.

Scarlett places a comforting hand on her shoulder, mia shrugs it off and stands up. "my baby, I'm sorry for not telling you anything" Emma says as she walks up to her. "why didn't you?" mia asks her voice firm. "after the incident, you were traumatized and we erased the memories, so you can start new and grow up and have a normal life"Emma explains hugging herself, mia's head snaps to her "wait erased? like-" she cuts herself off shocked. Emma slowly nods.

"you two go, I will take care of her" nik says picking mia up who groans in protest, he brings her to his meeting spot of his gang. he takes a seat on the picnic table with mia on his lap. "class" mia mutters weakly in his lap. nik rolls his eyes and plays with her silky soft hair, mia relaxes a little, feeling a bit better. "shhh" nik says caging her in his arms. one arm around her waist and the other one around her head, massaging it. she sighs in relief as she curls up in his lap, she could feel her eyes drop as nik massaged her head, she tried to keep her eyes open, she had a class to get to, there was a new biology teacher, her name was Mrs walker. she didn't know what happened to Mr. Anderson. he just disappeared suddenly.

she eventually falls asleep in his arms, it was a bit uncomfortable for nik but he didn't care, he cared for mia and she needed sleep. mia slept peacefully, without any nightmares, it has been too long since she had a good sleep. nik silently chuckled as mia started snoring, it was so little and cute. he sat there with her in his arms and studied her, nik didn't mind if he looked like a creep, she was too beautiful and it was hard no to stare at her. she woke up again just before lunch. mia stretched like a cat as she yawned, staffing as she felt someone hold her. mia blinked looking at nik, who gave her a small smile. "hello kitten" he says wiping the little drool at the corner of her lips.

mia freezes as he places his palm on her cheek and she unconsciously leans to it. "nik" she says softly and nik smiles putting a strand of hair behind her ear. "are you feeling better?' he asks and mia nods looking at him with a smile. "I...about...kiss?" mia stammers nervously looking at nik. he smirks as he studies her, mia shifts under his gaze, and nik smiles "I like you mia....but I never dated anyone, and I want to try whatever is between us, fuck I'm not good with words kitten, so go on a date with me" nik pleads and mia bites her lip. did she like him? yes very much.

nik looks at her nervously and mia takes a deep breath studying his face, and eyes which held adoration, nervousness, fear, she bites her lip and nods " I will go on a date with you" she says and instantly Nik's eyes twinkle as he grins hugging her tight almost cutting her air supply. mia smiles as he hugs her "thank you kitten, thank you soo much" he stress as he kisses her head repeatedly. mia giggles and hits his arm "losing circulation here" she says and nik smiles releasing her with a grin. "you look like a creep" mia comments and nik smirks "a hot one" he says with a wink. her stomach growls and her face become red as nik chuckles at her. "let's get food" he says helping her off his lap and getting up himself and stretching out.

they walk to the cafeteria, hands interlocked, many eyes were on them, but mia didn't care. she needed food and she will deal with the looks later. nik and mia take a seat at their usual table. nik gives her some food which she happily eats. Jacob gasps "how can you do this to me Hermosa," he says referring to her closeness with nik. mia smirks taking a bite of her pizza "everything is fair in love and war" mia says to him. Marcus raises his eyebrow at her and nik gives him a 'later' look. Ryan stays silent going through his phone. Jason was busy eating his food to even notice mia was there. "how are you now?' Marcus asks and mia smiles at him "better" she says and continues to eat her pizza. nik drew circles on the back of her palm as they ate their food.
