Lottie grew annoyed. “What kind of attitude is that? Even if we bumped into you, you could have stepped aside.”

Ivy and Madge were rendered speechless by her logic.

Juliet stepped forward. “You stepped on Lottie’s shoes. She spent months of her salary on those LV heels! Can you even afford to replace them?”

Funnily enough, Lottie was also wearing LV.

She glanced at Ivy’s dress. She herself couldn’t afford luxury brands, but she studied them all the time.

Ivy was wearing a Chanel runway dress. The expensive dress showed off her graceful waist. Her face was cold and breathtaking, and her skin had that soft, luminous glow of someone raised in comfort. She looked radiant just standing there.

Meanwhile, Lottie was covered in mismatched pieces. In front of a true beauty and a wealthy heiress, she was no competition at all.

That was when the hostility rose in Lottie’s chest.

Rivalry between women was always simple and direct.

She lifted her chin and said, “You stepped on my shoes today. You have to compensate me.”

Ivy let out a small laugh. “If we were the ones at fault, I’d pay whatever amount you asked. But if you’re planning to bully us for no reason, then I don’t have the time.”

“Watch your mouth!” Juliet snapped. “Do you even know who Lottie is?”

“Who?” Madge asked.

Lottie held up the credit tag. “Since you want to know, I’ll tell you. See this card?”

She displayed the tag Nathan had given her.

Madge’s sharp eyes caught the engraved letter immediately. It read “Lowe.”
