The Heartbreak Prescription (by Glazed Snow) novel Chapter 1115

**TITLE: My Dad Please Come 1115**

Nathan positioned one hand firmly on the edge of the mattress, his heart racing as Ivy unexpectedly yanked him down. In an instant, his striking face was mere inches from hers, their breaths intertwining in a shared moment that felt electric.

He inhaled deeply, catching the gentle aroma of her skin. It wasn’t the usual fragrance of perfume; instead, it was that pure, comforting scent that lingered after a warm shower, evoking a sense of intimacy and warmth.

Nathan steadied himself, his gaze locking onto hers. “What are you doing?” he asked, curiosity lacing his voice.

Ivy, still caught in the haze of sleep, blinked slowly, her eyes clouded with drowsiness. “Nothing. Just thanking you for carrying me to bed,” she murmured, a hint of mischief dancing in her tone.

Was she genuinely expressing her gratitude in this intimate manner?

Nathan felt a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. “That’s a rather unique way of saying thank you. But, uh, could you let go now?”

Yet, Ivy held on, her grip firm. She didn’t want to squander this fleeting moment, so she tilted her head and pressed her lips softly against his.

Time seemed to freeze for Nathan.

Ivy pulled back almost immediately, her eyes searching his for a reaction.

He furrowed his brow slightly, confusion evident. “And what was that supposed to mean?”

Ivy kept her arms wrapped securely around his neck, a playful glint in her eyes. “What do you think?”

Nathan’s gaze flickered down to her flushed lips, a silent question hanging in the air. “Are you asking for more tonight?”

With a soft, teasing tone, Ivy responded, “Don’t you want that?”

Nathan reached out, his long fingers encircling her delicate wrist, pinning her gently yet firmly to the bed.

“I thought we agreed to forget about last night. It was just an accident,” he reminded her, recalling the cold distance she had maintained earlier. He had assumed they both wanted to move on, but now, here she was, wrapped around him, and he was utterly bewildered by her intentions.

Ivy’s lashes fluttered, a hint of vulnerability in her gaze. “You want to forget it?”

Maintaining his gentlemanly demeanor, Nathan replied, “That depends on you.”

Ivy leaned closer, her lips brushing against his once more. “Last night was good. Tonight… I want to feel that good again.”

A flicker of danger ignited in Nathan’s eyes, a dark spark that threatened to unravel his restraint.
