**TITLE: My Dad Please Come 1109**

**Chapter 1109**

Nathan was taken aback by the unexpected sight of Ivy standing there. It was a moment he never anticipated.

“What are you doing here?” he asked, his voice tinged with surprise as he took a step closer, trying to gauge her mood.

Ivy raised her hand, revealing a collection of design sketches that fluttered slightly in the breeze. “I was working,” she explained, her voice steady yet light. “I stepped out for some fresh air and, as fate would have it, I happened to run into you.”

Her gaze flitted over to Stanley and Wendy, curiosity dancing in her eyes. “Aren’t you going to introduce your friends?” she prompted, a hint of a smile playing on her lips.

Nathan nodded, eager to bridge the connection. “This is my buddy, Stanley Hawk, and this lovely lady is my good friend, Wendy Crone.”

Ivy offered a polite smile to Stanley, her demeanor warm yet professional. “Nice to meet you, Mr. Hawk,” she said, her voice smooth and inviting. Then, turning her attention to Wendy, she added, “Dr. Crone, I’ve heard so many wonderful things about you. It’s truly a pleasure to finally put a face to the name.”

In that moment, the air seemed to shimmer with an unspoken recognition of mutual admiration. Wendy felt an instant affinity for Ivy, sensing a kindred spirit in her, while Ivy, in turn, appreciated Wendy’s presence and poise.

Wendy returned the smile, her eyes sparkling with friendliness. “Hello, Mrs. Lowe.”

“Hi, Ivy! I’m Bella!” chimed in Bella, her voice sweet and cheerful, as she bounced on her heels.

Nathan couldn’t help but chuckle at the contrast in Bella’s greeting. “Bella, why do you sound so much more cheerful saying hi to Ivy than when you greeted me? Seems a tad unfair, don’t you think?”

Bella giggled, her laughter ringing like a bell. “Ivy is just too pretty. Don’t be jealous!”

With a resigned laugh, Nathan threw up his hands in mock defeat. “Alright, I give up! As long as you’re happy, that’s what matters.”

Wendy, sensing the moment’s lightness, suggested warmly, “Mrs. Lowe, since we’ve crossed paths today, why don’t we all have dinner together?”

Stanley chimed in enthusiastically, “Dinner’s on me!” His generosity was met with nods of approval from the group.

Ivy glanced at Nathan, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “I’ve got time. What about you?”

Nathan nodded, a smile spreading across his face. “Absolutely! Let’s go.”

The five of them made their way to a nearby restaurant, the anticipation of good food and conversation filling the air. They settled into a cozy window seat, the sunlight casting a warm glow on their faces. Stanley, Wendy, and Bella nestled together on one side, while Nathan and Ivy faced them across the table.

Wendy initiated the conversation, her curiosity piqued. “Mrs. Lowe, are you a designer?”

Ivy nodded enthusiastically, her passion evident. “Yes! Design runs deep in my family. The Quinn family has always had a hand in the arts. I’ve been immersed in this world since I was a child.”

Nathan observed her, his brow slightly furrowed. “You don’t have to push yourself so hard, you know,” he said, concern creeping into his tone.
