Pierre watched as Trafford got down on his knees. Pierre's expression grew even more furious as he snapped, "How am I supposed to not hold a grudge after this?
"I spent 20 years getting an education. When I finally got a job, you easily took it away from me with your words. What makes you think I won't be upset about this, you punk?"
Trafford's expression darkened. "I'm literally on my knees. What else do you want?"
Pierre balled his fists as he thought about how he'd spent 20 years in school but the job he'd just landed was all gone because of Trafford's words. At that time, he was close to breaking down.
Recalling everything made Pierre even more furious. He snapped, "That isn't enough!"
After saying that, Pierre hurled his fist at Trafford's face. It hit Trafford straight on the nose, making Trafford's nose bleed.
Trafford yelled out in pain, "W-Why the hell are you hitting me?"
Pierre didn't stop swinging, punching Trafford in the face over and over again. After a while, he finally knocked Trafford out cold and stopped.
Everyone at the scene held their breath, watching Pierre go berserk.
Looking at Trafford who was on the floor, Pierre put his hands on his knees and panted heavily with his chest heaving. He seemed to have used up all his strength, pouring out all the resentment he'd been keeping inside onto Trafford.
Pierre was physically drained after beating Trafford up, but he felt a small weight lifted off his shoulders. Matthew realized they were done there, so he approached Pierre.
"Let's get going."
Pierre took a deep breath. "Yeah."
After saying that, Pierre headed for the exit, and the crowd immediately cleared a path. Everyone watched as they left.
The director watched them leave. After glancing at Trafford, he turned to the deputy director and whispered, "We can't cover this up with so many people around. The whole world's going to find out what went down today.
"Trafford is basically a lost cause now. Get someone to take him to another hospital. When he's recovered, he won't be coming back here to work."
