The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) novel Chapter 236

Matthew was perplexed. What shameless thing had he done? He hadn't done anything wrong. In fact, he'd just saved her, and they had some very intimate contact in the car.

Rachel seemed pretty into it at the time. She was obviously satisfied. Why had her mood changed so suddenly?

Rachel didn't explain her anger and walked toward the stairs in a huff. Tracy had no idea what had happened between the two, and it wasn't an appropriate time to ask. So, she went into her office.

Matthew ran down the stairs after Rachel. "Why are you suddenly so mad at me, Rachel?"

Rachel scoffed and continued walking away quickly.

Matthew smiled and asked, "Is it because I wasn't considerate enough in the car?

"Sorry about that. It happened in a rush. You took off my belt while I was still driving. You wanted it so badly that I couldn't find a proper place to do it."

Rachel gnashed her teeth and roared, "Matthew Grant!"

Well, at least she was responsive.

Matthew kept on smiling. "So it's not about the place? Got it. It was probably because I was too rough on you and I made you scream. I'll be gentle next time. I'm sorry."

Rachel was so mad that she punched Matthew. "What the fuck are you talking about?"

Matthew grabbed her fist. "So it's not because of that, either. Why are you angry at me then? You have to tell me."

Rachel gritted her teeth and glared at him. "You perverted bastard! You only talk about sex all day long. You're a douche. You just had it with me the day before, but you just couldn't stop yourself."

Rachel went straight to the point. "Did you sleep in Tracy's house last night?"

Matthew shook his head. "No, I did not. It was Tracy who slept in my house."

What! Rachel felt relieved when she heard the first half of his words, but the second half made her boil in anger. She had never even been to Matthew's house. Yet, Matthew had brought Tracy home!

"What do you mean by that?"

"There's nothing to it. She said she was afraid in her own house, so she slept in my house for the night," Matthew explained.

Rachel scoffed. He was just brushing her off. He wasn't even trying to come up with a better excuse for his actions.
