The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) novel Chapter 1070

Tracy was confident about breaking up Matthew and Rachel. The key person in making it happen was Tessa.

She had visited Tessa's place multiple times. Even after losing 20 thousand dollars for it, she still couldn't find Tessa. The security captain said Tessa hadn't come back either.

All Tracy could do was to keep waiting.

It was almost noon when the door to the president's office opened. As Matthew pulled open the door to leave, Rachel suddenly called out, "Oh no! Your sleeves are completely soaked."

Matthew looked at his sleeves and remarked, "I've been doing the hard work, so I'm sweating a lot. I'm not you, who hardly moves, so you're not sweating."

Rachel's face immediately turned beet red as she protested, "I'm sweating too. My hair is all wet."

Matthew flashed a quirky grin at Rachel. "Well. You did yell quite intensely."

Rachel playfully complained, "J-Just go already!"

Smiling, Matthew walked out of the office and gently closed the door behind him, leaving in a good mood.

Rachel sat on the office chair and blankly stared at the desk. Her face flickered between a smile and a shy expression like she was reminiscing it.

Suddenly, she sprang to her feet and rushed out the door, but Matthew was nowhere to be found in the hallway anymore.

Rachel sighed. Fred had been acting a little strange these past few days.

Fred kept telling Rachel he felt better, his appetite had improved, and that he was as strong as a young man. He even brought up about coming back to work at the company.

Rachel even spotted Fred and Malcolm whispering among themselves a few times. As soon as she appeared, they immediately stopped talking. She couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was about to happen.

On Arch Street, seven cars pulled up in front of the yard with the medicine sign on it. The doors opened, and a bunch of security guards got out.

Denny noticed the yard was empty. He didn't see any surveillance camera at the door or any pedestrians nearby. He raised his hand and instructed, "Come over here and group up."

The security guards all gathered around Denny. Seeing that everyone had gathered, Denny announced, "Come closer and take your reports."

With that, he opened his bag and pulled out a stack of health diagnosis reports.

As the security captain of the hospital, Laslo Blackwell was the first to step forward. Grinning, he asked, "The hospital did a check-up on the security team the other day. Did the results come in, Mr. Rouse? Am I in good shape?"

With a smile, Denny pulled out the first report and handed it to Laslo. "You're all good."

Laslo took the report and was about to put it away, but then he figured he should at least glance at it. The second he did, he was dumbstruck. "This is impossible. I can't be mentally ill."
