The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) novel Chapter 1028

Otto smiled and said, "Leave it to us. We will surprise you in a week. It's a promise."

He was a vigilant man, and he had always told people he was fairly confident when he was very certain of it.

However, Otto spoke with full-on confidence this time. After all, treating colds was such a piece of cake for him. He was a moderately reputable doctor in a big hospital.

Any doctor in a rural clinic or a medical consultant in a pharmacy could've cured a cold. In fact, nurses with little medical knowledge or any ordinary person knew what drug to get for it.

Matthew rose to his feet. "Okay. I'll be waiting for your good news."

At this point, he swept his gaze across the other people and said in a clear and loud voice, "I'm counting on all of you, everyone."

Sebastian chuckled and said, "Consider it done."

Silas gestured and imitated the characters in television dramas, "You got it, partner!"

Pierre smiled and responded, "No problem. It's a simple task."

Tony said leisurely, "I hail from Presetian Sect, Matthew. I can get this done with any prescription. Rest assured. You don't have to worry about this."

Matthew chuckled and said, "Alright. I'm going to leave now."

Then, he waved at them and turned around to leave. He had just arrived at the elevator when he suddenly heard a voice. "Are you leaving already, Matthew?"

Matthew stopped in his tracks and turned around, only to see Renae approaching him with a delicate smile. He responded with an, "Oh."

Renae strode toward Matthew and said with a grin, "Didn't you forget something?"

Matthew asked in a puzzled tone, "What did I forget?"

He wanted to clarify, but he was concerned that he'd make things weird. So, he decided he would go along with it.

"I think I should stay away from you for a while. Ciao." Matthew waved at Renae as he spoke. Then, he turned around and pressed the call button on the elevator.

Renae saw what he was doing, and she called out sweetly to Matthew, "Don't go!"

"Ding." The elevator door slid open. Matthew didn't enter. Instead, he turned around and looked at Renae. "Anything?"

Renae smiled as she stared at Matthew with unblinking eyes. She didn't smile and wave until he started frowning. "You should go. It's nothing."

Renae's peculiar actions dumbfounded Matthew. "If that's the case, why did you call me?"

Renae grinned. "I just want to look at you for a second longer."
