The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2601

The Cumur clan famously incorporated a diverse range of style and techniques into their discipline, just like the opener Haran displayed.

Naturally, it all banked on talent—even just a sliver of it would be able to realize its full potential, and Longram did not expect Haran to be a master of it!

"You're just a maggot!"

Haran smirked and stabbed his blades toward Longram's belly.

Longram leapt out of the way once more and cast his own technique, shrouding himself in a golden radiance!

Someone exclaimed, "That's the monks' famous Golden Shroud technique. So Skyhigh Sect really adopted it as the rumors claimed!"

"Really? Looks far more impressive than the original to me." Thalos smirked.

Creed laughed. "You have no idea—when it comes to martial arts, any adaptation really wouldn't measure up to the pioneers' mastery!"

"Really? Can't say I agree!" Thalos said confidently.

Meanwhile, Longram and Haran had traded over a dozen strikes.

As Thalos had predicted, as Haran landed more strikes, Longram's golden shroud started to crack, and eventually shattered with an audible crash.

Even as Longram stumbled and fell, Haran pressed his advantage and stabbed his blades at him!

Before his blade actually struck, Zark strode between them and snapped coolly, "You're just sparring, Mr. Cumur. Is there a need to shed blood?"

Haran snorted but ignored him, instead pointing his blade at Frank as he snapped, "Your turn, brat!"

Zark, who just helped Longram to his feet, was laughing. "You want to fight him? You're way out of your league!"

"Bullshit!" Haran bellowed in fury.

He was a one-in-a-generation talent, and he had just defeated the so-called best in this generation. Why would he not get to fight some pretty boy?

Zark was clearly just belittling himself!

Haran strode up just then. "Instead of a brawl, why don't we fight one against one?"

"Back off, boy!" Thalos barked, furious.

He had really pampered his son so much that he could not understand that there was always someone better.

And the Ghostly Six was undoubtedly beyond him!

Haran rolled his eyes. "You know how hard it is to live up to your reputation, Father. The way I see it, their reputation is all smoke and mirrors, and they actually amount to nothing!"

And with those words, he whipped out his dual blades and charged.

He could not be blamed for being hot-headed—not when he had just defeated Longram, who was touted to be peerless in their generation.

With such a boost to his ego, he was not about to worry about mere hearsay and consider the Ghostly Six a threat.
