The woman then asked, "Do you have a name, kid?"
"It's Lugh Frankton," Frank replied. "I'm sure you've heard of Mystic Sky Guild, and yes, I'm the chief—so remember that well!"
Those words left the white figures shocked, as they were very familiar with that name.
Mystic Sky Guild was a mysterious outfit that crushed even a strong dynasty like the Costners, and their chief was standing right here before them!
He was said to be astoundingly powerful and ruthless, and they could certainly see that now!
And after learning Frank's identity, the woman was a lot more respectful. "But we have no conflicts of interest with you, sir!"
There was no helping it—with Frank's sheer power pit against them, she had no choice but to hang her pride.
Frank chuckled, shaking his head. "Now that you mentioned conflicts of interest, my question is why did you do this at all? Have these people done something to offend you?"
"No." The woman shook her head. "Truth be told, we did it in anticipation of our enemy. We just didn't expect to run into you!
"We surrender, but we hope you'll hold true to your reputation—if you're willing to fight us for the sake of those civilians, you should be willing to stand against that villain too!"
Frank was at once interested. "A villain? Do tell!"
The woman said coolly, "She abused her authority in the guise of enforcing justice! We must stop her, like you should as an ally of justice. If anything, we should leave her to you!"
"And what's her name?" Frank asked.
"Drea Garad!" the woman replied. "She's from the mysterious Skyhill School, and she abused her strength by bullying many legitimate sects."
Frank nodded. "And what about you? Which outfit are you from?"
The woman laughed. "We'll tell you after you defeat her!"
The door opened, and a woman just short of six feet strode out.
She wore a leather jacket, her long blonde hair fluttering over her captivating hazel eyes, and she smiled as she studied Frank.
Drea had met countless people, but even she had to admit that he was top-notch among all the men she had met.
His gait only magnified his appeal further—no man would have that look without millions of dollars or hundreds of lives!
"I heard you butcher innocents?" Frank asked bluntly.
"Butcher innocents?" Drea appeared taken aback but soon winked at him. "What if I told you that all the people I killed are evil? Would you still think that to be the case?"
Frank ignored her and pointed at the bush as he said, "It's your word against theirs, so I have no idea what to think. So why don't you fight it out with them, and I take the side of the victor?"
The white figures in the bush were terrified!
