The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2583

Jada laughed. "What's the point of just drinking? There are plenty of other stuff to do!"

"Like what?" Laura asked, curious.

"Take your time to find out!" Jada grinned mischievously.

"What's going on up there?!" the cabbie, who had been listening interestedly to the women's conversation, suddenly exclaimed.

Everyone turned to see countless cars and persons floating over sixty feet up in the air, and there was a hellish white mist around them.

"Whoa…" The cabbie gasped and turned toward Frank, Jada, and Laura. "Is that… real?"

"Of course." Frank chuckled. "Your eyes never lie, though reality isn't as complicated as one would like to think—someone is just playing tricks!"

As he finished, he gestured for the cabbie to turn the car around, while he alighted and strode toward the freakshow.

Even as the cabbie reversed his taxi, he asked Jada, "Shouldn't you be more concerned for your boy, ma'am? He'd be dead if he had his soul stolen!"

Jada smiled in wry amusement. "What year is it, and you're still superstitious? I can tell you in no uncertain terms that the paranormal doesn't exist—only human tricks. And that's easy to handle, with a strong fist and just cause."

The cabbie was only utterly confused but did not worry about it since it was not his problem and left with Jada and Laura.

On the other hand, Frank stood in front of the white mist and yelled, "Quit being dramatic. Come out!"

Hearing only silence, Frank got impatient. "There's a limit to my patience!"

The woman laughed herself silly. "Are you even listening to yourself, brat?! We only ever do what we want—it's not up to people like you to tell us what to do!"

"Is that so?" Frank chuckled and waved his hand.

The cars began to land safely, while the civilians were lowered gently on the ground, although they had all passed out.

"You've really done it now!"

The white figures struggled to their feet, ready to attack Frank in retaliation.

However, they soon realized they could not free themselves from the shackle of Frank's unusual power, and they traded glances.
