Ida giggled. "That's not the way. Just giving him your body is much better!"
Sadie ignored her and kept staring at Frank.
Frank nodded. He was actually fine with the idea.
In fact, he was really curious and wanted an apprentice who went through those alterations to see if they had potential for cultivation.
"Is that a yes?!"
Ida almost choked on her food—she knew Frank was casual about things, but not this casual!
Not about to let Sadie win, she exclaimed, "Me too!"
"Go away. Why do you have to be everywhere?" Sadie scowled.
"What, are you turning your back on me already?!" Ida snapped. "If it wasn't for me, you would've blown yourself up with Lugh! And I was also the one who suggested we come to Lugh, so how could you do this to me?!"
Annoyed, Sadie was ready to argue when someone crashed through the window!
Everyone turned to look and found a tall masked man with a sword on his back and a kunai on his hip.
He looked just like a ninja!
Drawing his sword and pointing it at everyone, he demanded, "Who's Lugh Frankton?"
Sadie seemed to recognize him, however. "A-Aren't you Farek Jost?!"
"Who's Farek Jost?" Ida did not recognize the name despite having been in the same group as Sadie.
"Have you heard of The Plough?" Sadie asked, her voice shaking a little.
Ida realized with a start and promptly whispered into Frank's ear, "The Plough is the title of seven martial elites in our group. White Raven was one, but he was alleged to be the weakest, while the rest are thought to be strong enough to handle ten thousand men alone!"
"It's just a title! So you're Lugh Frankton?" Farek pointed his sword at Frank just then.
"Even if I have to admit that you're different, I have seen many prodigies! It's just that prodigies like you are rare, but no more than collectibles for me! And since your ladies are so loyal, you can attack me together!"
"Farek Jost! We have no quarrel with you. Why are you doing this?!" Sadie exclaimed.
She had encountered Frank's horrific strength, but to be honest, there was so much that was unknown about Farek.
As such, in Sadie's mind, Farek was stronger, which was why she believed they stood no chance and tried to make him see reason.
However, Farek simply laughed. "If you know me, then you'd know what I can do!"
"Of course! You're always a lone wolf who never follows orders. So why are you going this far now?"
Farek smirked. "A man must have some pursuits in life, and mine is to slay all the champions across the world!"
"I really don't care for the ones you've slain—it's prodigies of his caliber that justifies my existence! I'd die without regrets if I can slay him!"
Frank finally understood at that point—Farek was a martial zealot!
