Scar quickly threw his hands up, as Frank utterly terrified him.

Frank, however, snorted and kicked a pebble by his foot.

"Argh!" Scar screamed as he dropped to the ground.

"What are you doing?!" Ifor turned pale right then.

"Don't worry." Frank shrugged. "I won't dirty my hands—he's alive, but crippled. That's the lightest punishment he could ask for now."

Ifor nodded—he came from the same village as Scar, but one must always see reason, and Scar was completely wrong in this case.

Frank's punishment was therefore reasonable.

"Well, I understand that you're strong now," Ifor said. "Don't worry. No one in our village would ever intrude on your turf. Farewell!"

With that, he instructed some villagers to carry Scar away and headed back.

Alda was at once surprised and delighted. "I didn't think you were that amazing…"
