The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2135

Sylvie was slightly furious. "What, are you belittling me just because I'm a woman?!"

Ifor smirked but ignored her as he walked straight toward Frank.

In just two steps, they all heard a noisy rustle of bushes and turned to find a dozen glowing eyes glaring at them.

"I-Is that a ghost?" Scar asked, afraid.

"Ghost, my ass." Ifor snorted in annoyance. "There's no such thing—it must be some animal. The old man was right—there's something strange on this hill!"

"Quit spacing out. Let's leave already."

Ifor was ready to turn and get away, only to find several wolves standing on the path, led by a gigantic tiger!

"What the hell…?"

Ifor and the others were shocked.

This was no movie, and tigers were highly territorial—why would they allow a pack predator to prowl around its turf?

Other predators such as lions and bears were appearing behind Frank too—basically anything that should not show up here!

It was just so strange!

"W-What should we do?"

Scar and the others turned to Ifor—the man was never the boss, but he was always reliable when trouble hit.

However, Ifor turned toward Frank, Sylvie, and Alda. "Do you have a way out of this?"

They had no chance against so many beasts, as they were completely outmatched in strength or speed.

"Nope. Just gotta fight our way out of this!"

Frank flexed his wrist confidently, leaving everyone sighing in exasperation.

Even Ifor thought Frank was delusional. "How?! We might win against the wolves, but not the others. They could one-shot us and would outrun us too!"

Scar and his thugs were all left dumbstruck—was he even human?! That pretty boy turned out to be so strong!

"Thank you!"

Ifor was the first to recover from his shock and bowed his head at Frank.

"You don't have to thank me." Frank shook his head. "But don't you think you should answer for coming here and disturbing the peace?"

Ifor had certainly calmed down by now. And knowing that Scar had just taken him for a fool, he apologized. "I'm sorry—it was my mistake. You can punish me as you see fit!"

However, Frank could see that he was no scum and decided against punishing him.

Instead, he pointed at Scar.

Scar looked around, and seeing nobody, he pointed at himself. "Me?"

He knew that Frank was after his head, but he could not bring himself to crush his own hope no matter how faint it was.
