Frank chuckled. "Just you wait. I promise you that in a few days, that Jubba kid will be on his knees, apologizing."
Jason laughed in turn. "In that case, I shall look forward to that!"
In the evening, Tigris took Jason's Range Rover and took Frank to a mansion in the suburbs, quietly stopping outside.
The security guards immediately recognized that it was the vehicle of the owner of his security firm and ran up to it.
Tigris lowered the window and nodded at him. "So that's why Mr. Chand arranged for you to be a door guard for the Ingram family. That was a nice style of running!"
The security guard laughed. "You flatter me—we wouldn't even have a turn if you were interested in this job and the low pay. Anyway, Mr. Ingram instructed us to let you in! Welcome!"
After some small talk, the security guard gestured for the others to open the gates, and the Range Rover drove straight to the basement garage of the mansion.
Seeing all the sports cars around the garage, Tigris sighed enviously. "I'd live in a mansion and marry a celebrity just to drive around in that."
Frank was unsure if he should laugh or cry. "Never a dull moment with you. Just stay in the car—I can go alone from here."
Tigris smiled and nodded, while Frank headed up to the drawing room on the first floor, running headlong into a youth.
He wore a coat and his hair in a manbun, his dangling sidelocks making him appearing wild.
"Who the hell are you?!"
He shoved Frank as soon as he saw him, but Frank did not even budge.
"Hoho, a martial elite, huh?"
The youth was not surprised, however, even smirking. "I have plenty of others like you who work for me. Buzz off, or I'll have them teach you why they say that there's always someone better."
However, Frank snorted coldly and caught his wrist.
"Argh! What do you think you're doing?!"
Nonetheless, the youth who was harassing Frank started to complain to Donnie like a petulant child who got beaten. "Perfect timing, Mr. Ingram! This prick started beating me for no reason! Punish him!"
Donnie scowled as he turned to Frank. "And who the hell are you?"
"I'm Lugh Frankton, the healer that Jason Chand sent."
"I don't care who sent you—you have no right assaulting another man! Please leave!" Donnie demanded right then.
"Sure, but I'll set the record straight—he's the one who harassed me first."
And with those words, he turned to leave.
As he returned to the Range Rover, Tigris exclaimed in surprise, "You're done already?"
Frank shook his head. "Donnie Ingram is nothing good. There's no reason to help him."
