The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2084

"Don't get so nervous, brat!"

Shanti shrugged as he glanced leisurely at the four of them, laughing out loud, "Linda, and Linda's pretty friend… What's gotten into you? It's like your knees are buckling!"

Linda snorted grumpily. "All thanks to the man who owned you."

Shanti was at once incensed but restrained himself from lashing out—he knew how strong Frank was and that he was never going to win in a fight.

Still, he licked his lips as if Linda and Nora were already his and announced, "I've come today to tell you all that you're in deep shit. Watch your backs, or you'll be fucked if you find yourselves alone!"

"I could say the same about you."

Frank chuckled and kicked the pebble that just happened to be at his feet.

Pop!

It shot through Shanti's ear and his car window before landing on a nearby patio!

"Fucking… You're asking for it!" Shanti was left glaring murderously at Frank, clutching his ear.

"One inch to the side, and it's your brains on the car." Frank poised his foot beside another pebble.

Shanti was terrified, as if seeing the reaper, and promptly rushed inside his Audi and fled.

Tigris and the others were left laughing themselves silly.

"He came to threaten us, only to get shit on! I'm sure he'll be suffering a breakdown soon!"

Linda spat grumpily. "Men like him are always scared when the going gets tough. Someday, I'll pawn him off as a gigolo."

Everyone laughed even louder at that.

When they arrived at the PR department, the ladies were all waiting and grumpily flocked around Nora and Linda when they arrived.

"How could you do this? We agreed to share Mr. Frankton, but you had to one-up us!"

"Nothing!"

Jason rolled his eyes and snorted, his expression turning mild as he turned toward Frank. "Don't worry about what happened, Mr. Frankton. I'll settle the issue—you just have to focus on your work."

"It's just a club owner, right?" Frank asked in curiosity. "Did you have to personally get involved?"

Frank had no idea how important Jason was, but he could tell that he at least had some standing.

So, why was he even bothered with a little squabble?

Jason then sighed. "You wouldn't know, my friend, but the biggest shareholder of that club is Pax Jaric, the heir to an important family in this city."

Frank tried to search his memory for that last name. However, as he came up with nothing, he decided that they were not that important.

Nonetheless, he said, "I started this fight, so I won't bother you with it. I'll handle it myself."

"No, that won't do." Jason smiled, clapping him on the shoulder. "Don't worry, brother. I have some degree of influence—I'll get someone to talk to him and put this whole thing behind us."
