"O-Okay! Just wait here, Mr. Lawrence. We will get someone to clean up this mess right away!"
However, things were far from over.
After the two security guards left and everyone was left standing, afraid to make a sound, a furious bellow resounded from the entrance of the wedding hall. "Who?! Who has the balls to commit murder on my wedding day?!"
Frank turned at the voice to find a man in a white tuxedo and a flower brooch striding outside.
It was the bridegroom Eddie Clarke, and he was shaking with rage when he saw Jackie's headless corpse in the distance and Scorpion's body that was practically glued to the wall.
"Who did this?! Step forward!" he bellowed, glaring furiously at everyone outside the wedding hall.
Eventually, as he followed everyone else's stares, he found Frank sitting in a corner.
And seeing that Eddie was glaring at him, Frank nodded and admitted, "It was me."
At the same time, wedding guests were filing out of the hall after hearing the commotion outside. Most of the ladies especially gasped and turned pale when they saw the scene of bloodbath.
Meanwhile, Eddie glared fixedly at Frank as he stood in front of the crowd, huffing as he snapped, "How dare you! Committing a murder on my wedding day?! Are you dead set on ruining this for me?!"
"Yeah, that's way out of line."
"Blood spilled on a wedding day… Tut, tut. The Clarkes are really shit out of luck!"
"Who brought him here?"
"Shesh! Don't you know? It's that man wearing a knockoff suit… Right, Helen Lane's husband."
Nearby, Ilsa Mendy promptly seized the chance to diss Gina. "That's your son-in-law, Gina? A murderer who goes on a massacre in broad daylight?"
Her mouth hanging open, Gina certainly could not argue with all her old classmates staring at her, and she eventually had to wheel on Frank and snap, "What do you want, Frank?! Are you really so bent on souring things for me and did this just to get on my nerves?! What did I do…"
Gina dropped on her rear, clutching her chest as she howled and sobbed—Frank had really thoroughly humiliated her here!
All she wanted was to bring Helen along to show off a little, even try to make things work with Frank… only for things to turn out like this!
"Mom!"
Helen could not stay with Frank just then and promptly ran over, squeezing Gina's hand and rubbing her chest to calm her down.
