The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 1565

Before Jackie could finish, his head exploded instantly like a watermelon, splattering blood and brains across the floor and drawing another chorus of screams.

"I gave you a chance," Frank said flatly before withdrawing his earth aura and calmly returned to his seat.

Around his table, the thugs with colorfully dyed hair whom Scorpion brought remained where they stood rigidly.

None of them were begging for their lives or attacking Frank in a fit of rage, as they simply stood there in silence.

It was only when the two security guards from earlier got up and stared fearfully at the thugs that they finally noticed the thugs' pupils were dilated.

And none of them were breathing, as they were dead as a doornail, bleeding down from a subtle hole on their foreheads.

It was only then that the two security guards realized why Jackie was fleeing like the devil was on his heels—he was closest to those thugs and knew that Frank had killed them all in a split second.

With that, the two security guards turned back toward Frank, feeling a chill from their heads running down to their heels even as they looked at his calm visage.

They traded glances and saw the look of relief in each other's eyes—if Jaden had not slapped them earlier, they would be the ones standing there like statues, literally dead.

"Boys…"

Frank suddenly spoke, his tone calm.

To the two security guards, however, it could well be the devil himself speaking.

They tried to smile too, but they simply could not hide the gripping terror they felt.

The two security guards came to their senses right then and exclaimed, "Y-You're exaggerating, sir! It's really nothing!"

At the same time, they realized that Frank was not lying when he said that he was no cold-blooded murderer.

Jackie was the one who provoked Frank first and even called in his gangster friends to hurt him.

For Frank's part, he repeatedly insisted that he did not want to get violent at a wedding and only took action when Jackie and his friends stubbornly pestered him.

In that sense, Frank was no mindless butcher, but a man with tact and manners.

But while he was a reasonable man, the fact that he could butcher dozens in an instant left everyone trembling in fear.
