Stella politely reached out and smiled. "I'm Stella Cameron. It's nice to meet you."
Juniper turned back to Leonard, about to greet him, but his cold voice beat her to it.
"No need for introductions."
What Leonard actually meant was, "I have no interest in knowing you."
But with Stella there, he didn't want to come off as completely heartless, so he opted for a more polite phrasing.
Of course, in his mind, that was already very polite.
But to anyone else, it was incredibly blunt.
Regardless, she was a customer. Leonard's attitude was too icy, and fearing Juniper might feel awkward, Stella quickly changed the subject.
"Do you come here every day now, Miss Croft?"
Due to his car crash injuries, Leonard hadn't been to the cafe in a long time, and neither had Stella.
Juniper must have discovered the place while he was in the hospital.
Juniper didn't take Leonard's attitude to heart. She smiled and said, "Yeah, I absolutely love the cats here. They're all so sweet and adorable."
Stella quietly observed her.
Anyone who could afford to buy premium canned food for all these cats every day had to come from money.
Judging by Juniper's clothes and aura, she definitely wasn't from an ordinary background.
As they chatted, Stella noticed that Juniper could accurately name every single cat in the shop and even knew most of their quirky little habits.
She truly loved the animals here.
After a brief conversation, Stella turned to Leonard.
"It's getting late. If there's nothing else, I should head back."
"I'll walk you out," Leonard offered.
Stella shook her head. "No need. I have to go back to the office for something. Wilbur is already waiting for me at the door."
