Princess Wright was stunned.
Her gaze shifted to Stella's face. "Brother, what's going on? How did she target Aurora?"
Truth be told, Princess Wright knew nothing of the feud between Stella and Aurora. She had only recently met Aurora, who naturally wouldn't have brought up such matters.
Eason sneered. "Ever since she returned to the Williams family, she has constantly stolen Aurora's business deals. A while back, when the media started digging up dirt on her, she threw Aurora under the bus to divert attention. And before that, she let her bodyguards destroy Aurora's car…"
Eason recounted the past incidents one by one. Clearly, he had done a thorough investigation of Aurora.
Aurora had only just met the Wright siblings; she wouldn't be foolish enough to start complaining to them right away. But even if she said nothing, Eason would have inevitably looked into the background of the person who had saved his sister's life.
Seeing Eason's cold glare, Noah's expression turned grim. He had heard of Eason's methods. To secure his position as heir, Eason had even been willing to harm his own brothers. And he was not as easily swayed as Princess Wright.
Noah immediately began to explain on Stella's behalf. "Eason, I think there must be some misunderstanding. Star would never—"
Before Noah could finish, Stella cut him off.
"He's right. I did all those things."
Everyone stared at Stella in shock.
Stella smiled lightly. "I returned to the Williams family. Was I supposed to be there for a touching sisterly reunion, or to fight for power? What do you mean, I 'stole' her deals? We were competing fairly. Just because she wasn't good enough to win, you call it stealing? Does that mean everything she fails to obtain was stolen from her?"
At this, Stella looked at Eason with a half-smile.
