The Ex-Wife's Burning Elegance novel Chapter 1644

Stella's expression was grim.

She knew this was not the time for rash emotional decisions.

"Let's go back first," she said in a low voice.

Gideon and Wilbur both breathed a sigh of relief.

Wilbur suggested, "Since there are so many of them, calling for backup would be the safest option. It's an eight-hour flight from Solmaris to Germany. If we call for people now, they might just make it in time."

Stella shook her head. "There isn't enough time. They won't give us that opportunity. Still, it doesn't hurt to have a backup plan."

With that, Stella took out her phone and began making arrangements.

Wilbur looked at her face and hesitated before asking, "Stella, do you have a guess as to who kidnapped Abby?"

"It was most likely Princess Wright," Stella said.

At the mention of Princess Wright, Gideon's expression shifted.

He said quietly, "Last night, when Ms. Murphy went downstairs to order food for you, Ms. Cameron, she ran into Mr. Noah. It seemed Mr. Noah wanted to invite you to dinner, but Ms. Murphy turned him down. Mr. Noah explained the situation with his ex-girlfriend, Princess Wright, and hoped Ms. Murphy could help explain it to you. But before they could say much, that Princess Wright showed up again, and the look she gave Ms. Murphy was full of hostility."

As a professional bodyguard, Gideon had sharp senses.

He had seen his fair share of spoiled heiresses like Princess Wright.

He could tell at a glance that she was trouble.

Stella stared at the passing scenery outside the car window. "Abby and I ran into Princess Wright yesterday as well. From her conversation with Noah, it's clear she tries to prevent him from having any contact with other women. Given Noah's status, it would be difficult to get rid of someone like her without resorting to serious measures. Abby and I have only been in Germany for two days, and this was our first time out. We haven't offended anyone. Besides Princess Wright, I can't think of anyone else."

As for the Gibson family, they were destroyed long ago.

Stuart Gibson and his son had been in their graves for years.

"Ms. Cameron, what should we do then?" Gideon asked.

"First, let's contact Noah," Stella said. "He was with Princess Wright before. He should know where she would take someone she kidnapped."
