He was nothing like the men who were always plotting something.
Abby was a practical person. She had always believed that where there was money, there was love. Joshua could be ruthless in business, but when it came to feelings, he didn’t play games. He wanted to be with Stella, so he offered her his utmost sincerity.
Stella didn't need to worry about any external factors, because Joshua would handle everything. All she had to do was decide whether she wanted to be with him or not.
Abby shared her thoughts with Stella.
"Star, I know you're worried that a relationship will distract you and affect your judgment. That might be true with someone else, but not with Joshua. He's taught you so much; don't you think he knows how to balance these things? Besides, you've been so tense ever since you came to Solmaris. You’re a violinist, Stella; you know better than anyone that if you pull a string too tight, it’s bound to snap. You need to relax sometimes.
I know you might still be conflicted because he once helped Rachel Pearce. So, just make him wait a little longer. Let him chase you for a while, and you can get your satisfaction that way. I'm sure Joshua will give you a relationship experience unlike any other."
At that, Abby thought of Haynes and felt the urge to drag his name through the mud again.
Seeing Stella's tired and pained expression, Abby moved to massage her shoulders. She assumed Stella was still hung up on the rumors about the Gardner family and said, "As for those Gardner family rumors… what century are we in? That kind of superstitious nonsense is probably just malicious gossip spread by people with an agenda. Star, have you forgotten how those online trolls used to slander you? Was any of that true?"
Seeing a thoughtful look on Stella's face, Abby smiled. "Alright, Star, you don't have to figure all this out right away. Joshua was just giving you a heads-up… ahem, and while Neville is great, I have to say, Joshua is a better fit for you. It's a shame you can't have them both."

The Williams Group, Jonathan's office.
It was almost noon, and there was no news or report about Aurora's heroic rescue, neither online nor on TV. After Aurora saved the princess, Jonathan had specifically contacted various major media outlets. How could there not be even a whisper of it?
