The Ex-Wife's Burning Elegance novel Chapter 1365

Joshua was helping Stella, but he wasn't doing everything for her. He was there to give her a push when she needed it, but otherwise, he let her find her own way. If he hadn't, the Gardner family's resources could have secured every deal without Stella ever having to step into a meeting.

Meanwhile, despite having the backing of both Sellers Burton and Leonard, she was now being overshadowed by Stella.

Aurora's gaze swept over Joshua. Was he really willing to go to such lengths for Stella?

Spotting Aurora's return, Stella said to Joshua, "Now that Ms. Williams is back, shall we go take a look at the Dawnlight?"

When Leonard had invited Aurora, he had only mentioned it was about the Dawnlight project. She hadn't known Stella and Joshua would be there. After Leonard's reckless stunt with the car, she had assumed he was here to confront them for destroying his prized creation. After all, he had assembled it himself.

Calming herself, Aurora nodded slightly. "Yes."

Stella had rented a dedicated assembly workshop for the project. When they entered, Aurora saw the partially assembled frame of the Dawnlight and froze. She had thought Stella's promise to replace the car was just an empty boast. Aurora had never truly believed she could replicate it. Of course, she wasn't like Israel; she wouldn't have hounded Stella even if she failed. But she had thought it would be a good lesson for Stella to learn that some things were beyond her reach. Now, seeing the car in the workshop, Aurora was genuinely surprised, if only for a moment.
