The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella) novel Chapter 1427

Lisa struggled to retrieve her phone but could barely stand up, eventually letting Ben use it at his leisure.

Minutes later, Ben suddenly turned around, aiming the phone's camera directly at Lisa.

Lisa's pupils shrank, instinctively covering her forehead with her hand, "What are you doing now?!"

There was nothing but cold indifference on Ben's delicate face. After taking the shot, he put away the phone, ready to leave.

But after taking a step, he turned back to Lisa, "Do you think your classmate will come to save you?"

Lisa clenched her fingers. She understood Ben's implication and said in a deep voice, "We're just acquaintances. Even if you send her the video, her first thought would be to call the police!"

"Is that so?" Ben's lips curved slightly, "Then let's wait and see."

With that, he walked away, paying no more attention to Lisa.

Meanwhile, Mirabella was sitting in front of her computer, chatting with someone.

Her phone buzzed with a Messenger notification next to her.

She glanced at the screen to see a few pictures sent from Lisa, paused for a moment, and picked up her phone.

After viewing the pictures, Mirabella frowned slightly.

Without replying, she put down her phone and told her online friend she had something urgent, closing the chat window.

Then she quickly opened a tracking app and located Lisa's phone without much effort.

A remote suburban mansion area.

Mirabella stared at the address on her computer, her eyes slightly narrowed. After a moment of silence, she stood up, went to the closet, and put on a jacket.

James lazily lifted his eyelids, "No, she's going back as soon as school's out, no time."

"It's just a dinner together!" Emily was dissatisfied with her son's evasive attitude and continued, "Don't you want her to come over? Or do you intend to act like those spoiled brats in Riverdale, fooling around without taking responsibility?"

James's temples throbbed, and then he looked up at Emily with a slightly complex expression. The words 'You should be saying this to that girl' just couldn't come out.

Donald glanced at his grandson and coolly remarked, "Maybe it's because she's not interested in him."

"That's very possible, given that the girl isn't blind," Emily said deliberately.

James: "..."

He might not be the biological child of this family.

Unable to eat any further, James put down his fork, ignoring the personal attacks from his elders, and simply said, "Dad's archaeological team has already returned."
