The Divorcee Who Shines novel Chapter 83

Chapter 83 Conditions

Ranita appeared to have just finished showering, as her hair still glistened with droplets of water. She wore casual attire, a round-necked shirt that showcased her fair arms and graceful neck.

"Why is he here?" Brendon frowned.

"Hehe! Why can't I be here?" Dylan noticed Brendon and immediately adopted a hostile demeanor, skipping the pleasantries.

"What do you want with Ranita? If it's not important, please don't disturb us while we're watching the movie!" Dylan glanced at Brendon's attire - a meticulously ironed, handcrafted suit paired with an expensive patterned tie and collar clip. He resembled a peacock ready to display its feathers.

"Oh... I remember now. Aren't you hosting a welcome party for Shannon at home today? It's already late - why haven't you gone back yet? Be careful not to make Shannon anxious!"

Upon hearing this, Ranita also recalled.

"Mr. Stuart, is there something you need?"

"This time, Mrs. Cather and Mr. Semeraro will also attend the welcome party. Go over and follow them." Brendon's words infuriated Dylan.

"Brendon, don't go too far! Ranita only signed a contract with you. She didn't sell herself to you! What does this private welcome party have to do with her?!" Dylan grabbed Ranita's hand and pleaded, "Don't go!"

With Shannon's recent conniving behavior, who knew how she would mistreat Ranita!

Moreover, Ranita hadn't been feeling well these past few days - should she really go to work?

"Ranita!" Brendon looked at the woman with Dylan disapprovingly, "The car is waiting downstairs. Don't waste any more time."

"Ranita... don't go..."

But Ranita calmly pressed down on Dylan's hand and said, "Let me change first. Please wait for me, Mr. Stuart."

"Pick me up later for some late-night snacks," Ranita insisted, despite Dylan's protests.

To their surprise, Brendon was still waiting outside when she arrived. Ranita led him into the elevator before asking, "How did you find out where I live?"

"It's simple," he replied nonchalantly, revealing nothing more.

Ranita pursed her lips; she had no secrets from Brendon if he wanted to know something! That was why she needed to leave Stuart's Corp or Kurima as soon as possible.

"Mr. Stuart, my agreement to go to Boulderland Mansion comes with conditions," she asserted firmly.

"Go ahead," Brendon negotiated casually, without committing himself just yet.

"I want my departure from Stuart's Corp shortened by one month." Ranita continued walking towards the exit, making her demand clear without looking back at him.
